Yes there is,the most important parts have been left out. Her marriage to Doron ashkenazi and how he looted her stole everything she had and left her heartbroken family destitute as they had been before Ofra became famous.
There is a Hebrew version of this which goes into the marriage and how Doran immediately after the wedding starts taking control; alienating her from her family, then having her sever her decades-long relationship with her manager and then starts syphoning songwriting royalties to his own acct and starts to control her to the point wherein she has to get his approval for international engagements and such. Also the Hebrew version makes it VERY clear that EARLY on, Ofra had misgivings about the marriage and wanted to back out (and even her MANAGER strongly admonished her NOT to marry this POS) but her family (mainly her sisters and her misogynistic brothers.. who often said "you're just a singer") forced her into this marriage. She wanted a child. It's here that that gynecologist comes into the picture and starts drugging Ofra. He starts gaslighting her and then Ofra second guesses EVERY decision she makes. That's when Doran pushes her to sell her beloved home,, he and his mother go to Switzerland to clear out Ofra's accounts and conveniently destroys her Will. They start gaslighting and berate her; her mental state was already deteriorating. That's why in this part first she wants to go to the hospital, then after Doran and the "doctor" steps in, she suddenly doubts her wanting to go; fearing she would be hounded and have no privacy, etc. All sh-t that POS fed her. The Hebrew version also goes a little deeper into the inaction of the sisters (only one sister's interview is shown here, but in the Hebrew, the other sister speaks and OY! That was a clusterf--k).. had they not waffled, they could have saved their sister. I keep wondering why the two BROTHERS didn't step in.. I've always wondered about that.

Don't forget her family pushed her into this horrible, horrible marriage. Her manager was the one who was vehemently against it and wouldn't you know, he was enemy number one to her husband and separated her from him.
Thank you for uploading this! This gave me such a huge insight on to what lead up to her death. Her husband was terrible and I hope he's burning in hell. Ofra didn't deserve to leave the planet this way.
Why ON EARTH did the sister feel the need to ASK Ofra's husband for permission to take Ofra to the hospital??? I would have said "screw you, I'm taking my sister to the hospital!" Why the hell did they wait? I mean listening to Zehavah's account, I can't believe she could NOT put two and two together. When they finally did get her to the hospital she was already in renal failure. They were killing her. It seems only her manager was concerned with her all through her life.
@@eunicechang8329 Part of that is true, but later on the interview, she and her other sister didn't seem to care or was scared by him. I don't know. It was all so confusing and yet so tragic. If only they had gotten her to the hospital sooner. But hindsight is soooo 20/20. When you're in it, you're in it and no one would ever have thought what was going on really was what was going on.

Dont get it... when she passed away (2000), treament was already available and efficient. Why in hell did she not take any, perhaps her pimp-thug-junky-husband did not want to. At the same time, she must have been a really naive wife to accept such submission to him and her entire family....
Her husband was not allowing her to go for treatment. IF it came out what she really was sick from, then he'd come into questioning. That's why he was so quick to say that she contracted it via a blood transfusion after a miscarriage (which there never was) when it WAS revealed what she died of. As this goes on he had it planned to take her to the cleaners; and when he found out she was dying, well that was the cherry on top of his nefarious plan!!! That's why he kept her locked up and drugged. She fought back as best as she could. The POS and "doctor" were hoping she would just die at home.
