The KTM 390 Duke ABS is the second KTM offering from Bajaj Auto for the Indian market. The motorcycle was launched in 2012 EICMA event and has been developed keeping emerging markets like India in mind.
It is arguably the most awaited motorcycle in India. The motorcycle which looks similar to the Duke 200, is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder that produces 43.5PS at 9000rpm and 35Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and has a dry weight of just 139kg, making it an excelling motorcycle when it comes to power to weight ratio of 316bhp per tonne.
The KTM 390 Duke ABS is the be one of the few motorcycles which have an option to switch off the ABS. The motorcycle will be manufactured in Bajaj’s Chakan plant in Pune and will be sharing many components from its younger sibling, the Duke 200.
