She was always there for me, even after I came home all fucked up. Two years of hospital beds and rehab, another year of general drunkiness. Wake up screaming, nightmares every night for five years. She sacrificed everything for me, she was always there. Now we have two beautiful children and I just have to hope the families they marry into will be as open and accepting as our families were.
