Pretty Boy is one hell of a guitar player, his style is reminiscent of the days when cats were in bands and everybody could play instruments, the music was real then, more meaningful.

I started diving into LA gang history about '02 - I remember seeing prison photos of cats like Pretty boy, Fee etc so its a trip 20 years later to know that these guys is doing good. Almost seem like movie stars to me man 🤣 keep servin' StreetTV 💯

Man, I didn't know that Pretty Boy originally grew up in my neighborhood. Secondly, he was good friends with a friend of mines, that he mentioned a couple of times, and that was Kevin Mitchell. Kevin was a good trumpet player in school and after our school days, he went on to work for RTD/MTA as a bus driver. He died on some bullshit that I'm not cool with til this day. One of those responsible is paying for it in another way. So, R.I.P. to Kevin Mitchell, and it's good to hear that he's not forgotten🎺🎺🎺🚌🚌🚌

Pharoah 1 Hey man I was reading your reply. Wow! So Kevin Mitchell got killed in your old neighborhood. Does everybody around the block know who killed him and why he got killed? Secondly, I always wondered who did they suspect killed Raymond Washington. Because a lot of the division within the crips I believe would of not happened if he was still alive. Then maybe it would of eventually. Its definitely a thought to be discovered. That's a deep mystery bro. Peace

Marston Fobbs, you're absolutely correct. As a matter of fact, just like Pretty Boy stated, the 50 ran down Florence into Huntington Park, and then on to Boyle Heights. I use to catch it every morning, along with a dude from 90hood, when we worked at the big Sears warehouse on Olympic & Soto. Dig that circa.1981👍

I grew up on 76th and San Pedro. We moved over there in November of 1972. I lived on that block up until January of 1989. The neighborhood looks like a whole different place now. Everyone that I grew up with are all gone. They either left and moved on with their lives and started working, went to the pen or lost their lives to the streets.

There's nothing else to say or see. No video or audio. He went out like Abraham Lincoln. I don't think no one was recording videos about L.A sets around that time. It got big when the 83 vs 60 wars started...not Crips and bloods. The 1980's is when people wanted to know about the founders like Raymond and Tookie...but it was too late. One was resting and the other was on death row

Brian Bizoso honestly in my mind I was comparing it to saint Louis. The grass is 3 ft tall, wild packs of dogs walk around, the traffic lights all turn yellow at night so you don’t have to stop, people light fires in trash cans, an entire city block might might have 3 houses on it, all the other houses will be burnt down.... it’s s 3rd world country for real. Lots of the mid west looks this way

dru Stories downtrodden neighborhoods are sometimes the safest. People in L. A. are money getters and about their business they left Texas and Louisiana by being go getters. The go getters are more cutthroat. Just gangsters moving to the suburbs. L.A. dudes flooded Stl with product back in the day and contributed to the misery unfortunately.
