@@derbar4340tbf with everything in pokemon it’s not uncommon for even highly skilled players to forget certain things. We can’t expect everyone to have perfect knowledge, hell I know that a lot of people still don’t understand Comatose
"Do i tera normal my kommo-o to get out of psychic noise?" the audience, mimicking the scene of the breaking bad scene of walter in the car: "FREEZAI! YOU HAVE SOUNDPROOF! FREEZAI! DON'T TERA, YOU HAVE SOUNDPROOF!"

Everyone's pointing out that your fire type can't get burned, but also, your Kommo-o had the soundproof ability and was immune to psychic noise - no need to shed the fighting type.

per my comment last video and just waiting longer to make a move for metagame mind games: feeling how they will play may be hard to directly quantify probabilistically, especially when not assuming ergodicity (pokemon is a non ergodic game, with hidden information, and not accounting for this in analysis is a common and easy mistake), but this doesn't mean its irrelevant or not useful. extremely high statistical and discrete metagame understanding are required for being at the highest levels, but the time considerate feel of the game is also required for the best plays at the highest levels. my 2¢, take that for what you will. another great video of you playing super well! the slow bro play was 🔥🔥
I guess I get that you need to min max your time playing games more at high ladder, but the early forfeits always surprise me, especially when there's still so much unknown
wait, can someone explain why kommo-o tera'd in the second game? i mean soundproof blocks psychic noise so why tera ;-; they always use twave there (though in the end it worked out because of crit ig)
Was spectrier faster than yanmega the first turn? If it was, then it would've been safer to substitute, since most of the time yanmega protects as soon as it enters the field
they could predict substitute and attack that turn, if that happens then i faint to air slash. While its true that its likely they protect, often times its better to make a play that works irrespective of what the opponent does. You don't know how erratic or aggressive your opponent is
