Lyrics English Translated Is it the lack of intention in my head that's tricking my feelings? In a cloudy haze my mind was emptied Are we being teased by our forgotten decision? Just how did you prepare for this? Is it them teasing me in my warped head? The anticipation holds me up Are we being tricked by our forgotten decision? Just how have you done it? A lifeless morning arrives, can't see a single thing If the morning melts into the day, it's nowhere near here I pretend to understand, I pretend to say something I uneasily speak out and they all run away I pretend to understand, I peep through my fingers I uneasily speak out just like they'd all run away
@@DazeyChaineMusic cause you don't speak the language and can't tell if their delivery was exactly as eloquent as you think it is or not. also indie shit just has good lyrics regardless of country.
IsaCuomo wow I can totally read that if I sing to it I don't need the actual words I just repeat what the say even if I say it wrong I don't give a f##k
@@hiballtista3983 that was mean and a Lil bit racist aight, could've just asked by the romanized or translated lyrics, or just not have replied to this comment. no need to go on the offensive dude. Chill tf out

Man, that drummer was a trooper. He was really sick at this point and had to quit shortly after. Yet all the way through the video he's just going to town on that drum pad. He's the only one still moving by the end of it.
@@aoldatabase I don't think so, the original drummer who got sick left the band in the early 2000s. This music video is from years later. This is their current drummer. He just has bags under his eyes lol
A little more detailed information: The original drummer and album cover artist, Arata Nishi is still active to this day. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage which led him to quit the drums but still continues his art which he does with his left hand and has even contributed to the band's albums covers after he quit.
Manabu: (laughs) Before we started shooting it, we were afraid that we might actually have trouble breathing once the paper was high enough, but that turned out to be okay. But the worst problem was the heat. It was very hot being in a box and then being engulfed in confetti. It wasn't difficult to play when we filmed it; it was just super hot. The staff started dropping ice from the top to help cool us down.
+IdoIndeedFlip According to wikipedia, they got their name when their drummer asked a drunk Eric Judy, bassist of Modest Mouse what the name of the band should be.
i love this so much. i used to listen to them a lot in the past. their music changed a lot, though. Still, i like to look back on my past faves once in a while.
Eric Judy is one of my favorite musicians of all time. This is amazing news because Modest Mouse (pre-2005) is my favorite band, but this one is working its way into the top.
The name of the band comes from the movie , "Revenge of the Nerds." Also, if you're a fan of American Dad, the character named "Snot" is the actor that played "Booger" in Revenge of the Nerds." I know that Johnny Marr is a fan of the band too.
lol 2:20 looks like manabu almost catches a post-it in his mouth! i just love it how they never appear "full of themselves" despite having recorded an impressive catalog of insanely good stuff. my personal favorites are black window, advantage, kapo (カポ ), lobotomy and... oh hell... homely -- yes the entire bloody album, there's not a weak song there. listen to カポ and i challenge you to get that guitar riff outta your head! :-P
I was looking something up on google, and these guys are pretty much the only Japanese band that has ever been to my state. O.o They are pretty cool. XD
Just saw them in Oxford MS last. We had never heard of'em but ended up being big fans and buying all their albums. They were great and a pleasant surprise.

@wizardofozu For example in Poland, there are only few people whom is listening to J-music. The most common Japanese artists/bands in Poland - Galneryus, Asian Kungfu Generation, One OK Rock and AKB48.
