He is their responsibility so why would these people want to cause him further pain? I had a small dog once who did hurt her back leg, not once but twice. My poor baby. She needed surgery on those legs and it was hard on all of us. I can’t watch an animal suffering because it just doesn’t understand why your not helping it. It’s heartbreaking. I can’t imagine willingly causing your animal to suffer.

brenda bickers They won’t be seeing a vet. Even if they cared enough to pay the money, there really are not many vets around in Cambodia. I just researched and found 3 vets in private practice in the capital city. That’s it for their whole nation. Also, this monkey is definitely an illegal pet as it is a violation of Cambodian federal law to be in possession of an animal that was born wild. Now, some pet shops offer vaccines and sometimes people who make these videos call them “vets”. However, they can’t treat an injury. So... yea, this macaque will just need to heal on his own.
