i love this song so much partly because its meaning is such a mystery like it goes from pretty standard meaning to m/urder theory 😭 i honestly think this is a great example of „it is whatever you make of it“ because all these theories do make sense, everyone can find meaning in this song and that’s beautiful

Doughnut is just a good song to listen to… I’m glad you liked it ❤ also I’m seeing other Kpop stuff from your channel asides dreamcatcher and twice, that also makes me smile. As a once, no, as just a person who loves music, it brings me joy to see one enjoy it too. (I love all genres of music, I’m just really into Kpop recently)

I've been listening to Kpop for a while now so there's quite a few groups people has asked me to check out that I can't because I'm already a fan but I love getting to hear some groups I haven't gotten into yet or even didn't know about, especially with soloists. I'm just having fun and I'm glad it can bring you some happiness 😊

oh the amount of theories for the mv. starting from jihyo dying first and then the rest, while mina was the only one left trying to figure out what happened. this song is def one of my favorites!!

19:04 to 19:14 from the Patreon vid.... In the Mina and Chaeyoung scene in the MV, I feel rather than it being more "playful", the vibe I got instead was a pair simply going through the motions while pretending everything is alright when inside, they aren't.... think Stepford Wives vibes. Which goes with the melancholic vibes and theme of being stuck in a loop that the song is going for.

Bear in mind that Christmas in Japan is a romantic season for couples (it's not a family day as here in the West), and the tone of the video will make a lot of sense.

doughnut is actually so weird (in a good way) without knowing the lyrics feel like is a dreamy song but you still have this feeling in the back of sadness and it's exacly it when you read the lyrics and watch the mv, it gives the same feelings.. i love this song and this mv is one of my favorites, it has a lot of theories one of them beeing creepy but i kinda get it 😂

Would you be willing to check out Billlie’s Snowy Night at some point? It’s the season for it and they are a perfectly underrated group. Also doughnut is definitely one of the best Japanese releases imo

... they're literally singing in Japanese, so yeah, it is a Japanese track. Plus, there are Japanese members so technically TWICE is a Korean, Taiwanese AND Japanese Idol group
