@@naiko8412 yeah it would have been nice to have new gun models but most foundry weapons that look nice are exotics. At this point I’ll take new origin perks over nothing.
@@naiko8412they aren't of different foundries, for some reason bungie just never named them as part of the foundry, in fact daito made a number of rare weapon models they're just not branded
@@naiko8412That's not the case. These weapons were always from these foundries, but for some reason they weren't labeled as such until now. My suspicion is that they didn't have as much of a distinct identity as the existing foundries, but now thanks to origin perks and a wider perk selection overall, they can give them real identity.
My first roll with this was dynamic sway and fragile focus with 100 recoil. it's a beast. I dont understand bungies logic with that origin trait on an smg right after saying they want to calm the range on smgs down lol
Prolly cause these perks and weapons were made long before these changes lol. Also, bet your ass that people would have complained if the SMG wasn't this good.
@@Mr-R.R. They could’ve literally put any other perk beside target lock on it, and then on top you slap a pretty juiced origin trait on it on top of the fact you gave it dynamic sway. Nah bungie must have a few devs that hate shotgun apes or something.😂
@@patrappadaclappa last season we got smgs from the seasonal that weren't this good and plenty complaints about it. I'm telling you from what I've seen, people will have absolutely cried harder if this weapon did not perform.

You can focus witch engrams into old red war weapons and get a change for the show runner which is a leightweight frame that can roll target lock and dynamic sway 900rpm that also has the nadir focus origin trait

What crucible has become… used to be tense gun fights and super games, now u look on your radar someone is sliding towards u with a shotgun or someone’s I. The distance and they snipe u mid air 😢😢
I cant imagine Shayura seeing that they made a smg similar to hers but with stasis (note she killed tons of Darkbearer Guardians in Trials/Crucible and got banned and on watchlist due to that)
Showrunner, 900rpm smg with target lock and (and your choice of) well rounded/dynamic sway reduction has a ttk of 0.67 seconds. You can get that down to 0.53 seconds if you somehow manage to get swashbuckler up to 5x (even with 1 stack of swashbuckler you have a fast ttk than the Unending Tempest).
I focused a few and got a full bore, accurised rounds, perpetual motion and target lock with handling masterwork feels nice but i do want my personal roll of smallbore, accurised rounds, perceptual motion target lock with a range masterwork id be a very happy camper at that point - the showrunner can get a similar roll and thats a 900 lightweight
When you see high level play and people who are in your lobby who outclass you in terms of skill you'll notice it more often. Heck one of the reasons I hate shotguns in this game is how much frequent users of them slide. 3 slides can close the distance stupid fast as well as making it so that half your bullets don't even register as hitting the opponent as well as being so weird that on your screen you'll see that you died but should have been outside of shotgun range mean while if you'd have gotten to see what the enemy did you'd have seen that they slid right up to you
@@Tahu33446 in trials the only time I see ppl sliding alot are Antaeus bitches which I do struggle to deal with against a good titan . But even then I dont see ppl spam sliding as much. I guess coz console lobbies idk. Feels like in this vid he slid every single chance he had don't think I've seen that even in a video from any of the top players before 😂 I wanna get better at slide spamming for evasion n closing the gap coz of how strong it can be but they feel so slow since coz of Xbox one so I can't change fov n movement in general feels rly heavy compared to if I could change to 90-120fov + atm my sense is kinda low (12 atm) slowly getting used to raising my sensitivity so I can slide in a direction then readjusted my aim back on target faster. I'll get there eventually n it'll feel even better once I upgrade to current gen/pc
Great video as always Frost, but to me, I'm so exhausted from SMGs being plentiful. It feels like every patch when Mulitimach first came out, it hasn't stopped since then.
@jonahheroux3731 I honestly don't care what the meta is. I run into so many different weapons in quick play I don't get bothered by it. The meta is different in 3's though and I tend to run into hand cannons more often than smg's.
@@itslethal4050 but we did get a new 140 handcannon (that's actually good) and we are getting igneous back with new and interesting perks. We also got a shitload other weapons that aren't smg too
I’d argue that the new Showrunner smg you can get from the new HELM table is more OP. You can still get some rangey perks with target lock on a 900 kinetic smg
idk what they did to multimach but if you have a killing wind kill clip you are a god amongst mortal men. I have threat detector kill clip so i’m like demi god level but hot damn.
Focused a bunch and got full bore accurized demo or subsistence target lock handling mw. Sits at 81 range. Haven’t tried in pvp yet but ran it in pve on a stasis hunter. Love it.
I really wish Bungie would actually bring back foundries and foundry specific items and rewards. Kind of ruins the immersion of getting hyped on a foundry weapon when said foundry isn’t even in existence within the game space lol.

I have 2 god rolls. My first one has smallbore, accurized, dynamic sway, target lock with a range masterwork. My second one has corkscrew, accurized, gutshot, target lock with a range masterwork. My second roll melts and it should be illegal
I've honestly been staying away from crucible the last couple of years, since it just started to feel stale. I have been trying to get back into it a bit more and funny thing is, I don't think that I have even tried using an SMG during its pvp meta. What can I say? I love my dad rifles and voops. However, I'm definitely going to try this baby out. You make it look like a lot of fun.
Unending Tempest is so broken, getting 100 range quite easily. Immortal is still busted even after the "nerf". It's ridiculous, Bungie are so incompetent. "We 'fixed' Immortal but it's still metah as we didn't nerf it enough, and then we just released a new kinetic Shayura that is better than Shayura."
Idk who’s in charge of these things at bungie but they need to be stoped💀💀 I got a target lock roll and this might be the best smg ive ever used In this game. And yes I have a good roll immortal and I remember recluse meta back in forsaken
At this point if you are allowing an SMG to close the distance to be in range that is a you problem, SMGs range is 18-23 meters. Every option out ranges them play to the range of your loadout and you are fine.
@@jeremyhenning6831 understandable but HC/Shotty isnt a cqc playstyle HC's are mid range so play mid range. We keep having this discussion because ppl dont understand that SMG 18-23.5 vs HC 24-41m. Play to your kit.
For one, aren't some maps built with corridors and tons of cover to help those to close distance of long distant players. Second, if you play solo, how are you going to dictate to your team to camp in the back with you and their weapon of choice? I get what you are saying in a 1v1 scenario but every other scenario it can't always be your fault
I have clips of titans running at me from 30+m out with Jugg and Anteus, tanking about 400 damage and killing me with an SMG. Context is important when it comes to how strong SMGs are.
@@JakeFish5058 Jake SMGs arent the problem, Jugg and Anteus make it easy to straight line and thats where the frustration is. Arc Titan is ridiculously strong cqc, and nuetral game. When SMGs werent consistent primaries ppl straight lined with shotties/fusions and what go nerfed shotties/fusions instead of the actual problem being Jug and Anteus.
