Please only send campaigns on the verge of defeat or battles you can't win. Auto resolve wins won't be accepted. Modded campaigns are not currently accepted. Please only send campaigns/battles on large or ultra unit scale. Normal and small unit scale will not be accepted. Not currently accepting Realm of Chaos campaigns/battles.

he pulled it off because the AI made HUGE tactical mistakes, by all measures this fight is unwinable but due to the AI incredibly stupid decision he managed to make it work. if this was against a player even a novice one, or a more intelligent AI this fight would be a loss everytime

I had my head in my hands when I saw no units were even lost! This has to be up there with the Chosokabe's Last Stand in Shogun 2 or that time Mazdamundi conquered the whole map. Making us all look bad as usual Legend xD

keep in mind, the AI made it absolutely gargantuan, tactical mistakes that would never happen in any other circumstance. Besides the fact of the AI is just too stupid to win. like it’s sent it lords, heroes, and single entities in the battlefield, first with no support. if the AI was even slightly, and I mean barely slightly more intelligent, this fight would actually be completely impossible.

15:40 a short glimpse back to legend of the olden days haha love it. Sometimes I miss the cursing son of a gun who made me lose my mind speedrunning medieval 2 with the turks. But modern legend is way more professional and based. Anyway great video, loved it

Videos like these are a good reminder that legend, along with having some good cheese and plans, also has crazy good micro. One thing I wanted to mention, I've found with slow moving spells that move in a constant direction, so wall of wind and fire, it's better to cast in the direction the units are moving than against. Yall can correct me if I'm wrong, but I've found that the spells, instead of just going past, will kind of walk with their army and keep killing units for its entire duration. It's not amazing if you wanna target a single or two units because you could easily just waste a spell for just a bit more value. But if you're targeting large blobs where you don't have to be as accurate then it should be easy enough to land, assuming you still have proper timing.

Anyone who watches Legend knows that the AI is inept. There's still skill to knowing how to exploit the AI's deficiencies - especially when the unit quality isn't in your favor.

most of those battles are because i have a hopelessly boring and basic army and going up against impossible odds. they're not interesting videos. Happy to show defeats but they have to be interesting scenarios. I reject plenty of winnable battles as well. Most important thing is to entertain you guys.

@@LegendofTotalWar Perhaps one of the tough battles that you need to repeat a few times because your units crumbled at the last second instead of doing 1 more damage? You could put the winning battle on the channel, with the losing battle as a hidden video and the link in the description of the winning one.

Hey Legend, I was watching you cast Wall of Fire and had a thought: would it be best to start the spell at the rear of the enemy and aim it towards their front? This way it "sticks" to them more, potentially killing more enitites from those entities taking more damage. This assumes that the enemy is moving straight forward and they're blobbed up. Regardless, a great video as always (and holy shit that was close)

Tip for campaign: don't kill the lords to armies you know are going to get away. Its better to weaken the lord to really low health because if you kill them they're almost always replaced immediately with a full health lord. If you just weaken them then the follow up fight will be easy to snipe the lord immediately.

Hi Legend, if the game is to make any kind of sense this is NOT a battle that the player should be able to win. This aint a disaster battle video its a disaster showcase of CAs WH3 teams skills.
