Nobody ever covered this classic popper better than HSCC. The vocals are brilliant; anyone who doesn't think the guitar work is high end is plain uneducated. They kicked ass ladies and gents
Honestly not even professional grad lip syncing... drum cymbals out of no where, back up voices missing backup sounds... would rather see actual live performance, not lip syncing
Absolutely top draw. I now live in Ireland & have seen many top class bands playing here, but due to the lock downs & pubs closed i have been kept sane with HSCC enjoying the real band feel.
Steve Perry has one of the most versatile voices in the music industry. Steve’s range is phenomenal and unmatched...until this group came along. I listen to originals over and over...this group NAILED it!! Awesome job!
Absolutely incredible talent here. I so LOVE it. Never gets old. I recently shot street photos of Steve Perry in L.A. (2-26-23) and after that started 're' listening to his great music. Then stumbled on this. OMFG. Love the SOLO ! Thanks guys. New Follower 😎🎼🎵🎵🎶🎸🎙🥁🎹❤
Whenever I see a Steve perry song in the description my first thought is "Psssh. Yeah, we'll see about that." I watched this and was presently surprised! Very nice job! Nice vocals and the band is awesome as always! 5 starts!
Love the way you guys smile at each other during the songs as in approval of how great things are going. Great expression to the audience that you enjoy what you are doing. Cheers from Puerto Rico.
I'm not normally a fan of anyone changing iconic guitar solos, but holy crap! - Tzan knocked that out of the park! Kept the opening few licks the same then took off - outstanding. Also a shout out to the amazing vocalist, covering anything from Steve Perry is a huge task and he nailed it. Awesome group of incredibly talented musos.
Amazing performance!!! Outstanding... This song is one of my favorites of all time. It's part of the setlist from "Rock of Ages Musical" that I have the privilege to saw in 2014 at Broadway!!! Very, very good memories!!!
You guys make such a hard song look easy and fun. The smiles between band members is fantastic. Perry would do that with e Journey members back in the day too.
i was in a major hurry to start work and was ready to cut this short on the first sound of the vocals ,needless to say i was late to work ,absolutely blown away
I was so damn lucky to be born in '66. That put me as a teenager in the last 3 years of the 70's and the first 6 years of the 80's. I was in high school from 80-84. The 80's were the most magical time ever on so many different.levels, especially musically. Journey was of course huge with their Escape and Frontiers tours. When Mr. Perry put out Street Talk it was just icing on the cake. Mr. Perry is very very hard to cover, he has such a unique and beautiful voice. You sir did an amazing job on this song and I have enjoyed listening to it multiple times. Very very well done sir.
I was born in 71. I got to hang out with friends older brothers who were in combat in nam... Plus saw the dead, zeppelin, and a bunch of other bands that there will never be the likes of again.. born too late to see The Beatles play live but growing up and being a kid in the seventies it was freaking awesome man and times really have changed one thing I noticed is almost everyone was skinny back then you didn't see a lot of overweight people. Also drinking and driving wasn't crime like it is now it was more like a hobby.. I've been interested in knowing if the DUI loss of actually saved any lives or if it's more just awareness and car safety features now. When I was a kid the cops either rode you home or made you park and walk. Not saying it was good just saying it was different. I also remember never having a seatbelt on my parents holding me with cigarettes in their mouths as a baby and everything else that now we say is bad but I don't know I'm in my 50s and still healthy so couldn't have been too bad
I'm a Steve perry die hard and I'm pretty critical of covers but damn I cannot find one flaw in this performance. Holy shit. I utterly impressed. Thank you for this outstanding performance. I'm sure Steve himself would smile to it!
Daniel is a major talent. If he is singing, I’m listening. Interesting he is wearing The Tubes T-shirt as he has that Fee Waybill look to him. Keep Rocking!
I third that, "She's a Beauty" would be right up their alley. She's one in a million girls, one in a million girls, now why would I lie? Why would I lie?
1:32 A very tight detail well played by the drummer in the corner. The three or four "tsk" sounds on the cymbals was a detail that I always noticed in this song even way back when it was on the radio in the eighties.
My first impression was Oh noooooo, he's gonna do a Steve Perry song let's see how bad he sings this, then he opened his mouth to sign and I opened my mouth in amazement, dam fine job, really impressive.
🇨🇦 Their is no band in the world like HSCC, and to have Daniel as a lead singer is a steal ....not to mention the great musicians that make him so great....lovin it from Toronto Canada.
