Thank Bryan Malinowski for this. His activity emboldened the ATF to move forward on this threat. Using FFL to buy loads of handguns and “private sale” them at gun shows at big increase, to people who couldn’t pass NICS- let this be the person you blame

@silverstar4289 Viscous…like your brain? I assume you meant to say vicious, and if so how do you know this man was knowingly selling these firearms to vicious people? Because that’s what the people who shot him in the head have accused him of? As far as I’m aware, the only people who have been arrested in connection to this are people who were arrested for possess of marijuana, which I don’t condone, but it seems like a very thin reed to lean on. In my opinion, buying something and flipping it for a profit has always been an American’s right. You sound like a second amendment supporter, BUT… kind of guy.

Malinowski was straight-up assassinated. Period. The ATF raid was nothing short of premeditated murder. There is no other way to spin that. They had every opportunity to serve the warrant without ever having to even see his face, let alone shoot him in it. They were specifically instructed to serve a search warrant rather than an arrest warrant. The only reason to conduct it the way they did is if their objective was, from the beginning, to kill him. The ATF's history is such that it is impossible to give them the benefit of doubting competence rather than expecting malice. They are wholly corrupt and nothing less than an organized criminal arm of the government at this point, and it's become too overt to claim anything less.

From someone who grew up near a skeet range. When the club shut down permanently the land and corn field further down range are still sitting unusable by a property developer because the lead content of the soil is so high it is now an EPA superfund level clean up needed before any house could be built on it. SO now the house that was on the site for an office is used as a SWAT training house for CQB by several local law enforcement agencies. So in reality it will just shut down the range. My gun club is under assault by the local community tha wants to build a new school nearby which could adversly affect our usage permit that dictates the operating hours if we are not allowed to shoot during Monday to Friday school hours since we need to shut down 30 minutes before civil twilight.

The ATF needs to be abolished. We have real law enforcement officers already. I would trust gas station sushi before ever trusting the ATF.

I can see the Arkansas thing playing out like the case against the sniper at Ruby Ridge. The FBI will step in if the state decides to press charges, claiming they have jurisdiction because the agents are federal, then immediately drop the charges.

The whole Arkansas AG "looking into it" is just for show. While he may or may not be acting in good faith, I am pretty sure federal agents acting in their duty for the federal government can not be held legally responsible by a state unless the feds snitch on themselves and claim he was acting outside the preview of his job... which will happen never.
@ar15com

No, a federal agent is definitely subject to the laws of the state he is in. If his actions were not justified, he can go to prison for murder or manslaughter.

Whats the difference between the federal background check you go through when buying a gun at an FFL and one that's "universal"?
@ar15com
@ar15com 2 месяца назад
A universal background check is another term for a ban on private sales. The intent is to create a registry of all gun owners.
@28ebdh3udnav
@28ebdh3udnav 2 месяца назад
@@ar15com from my understanding, private sales are still legal in CA, NY, Co, WA, but they have "universal" background checks as they claim but I still don't understand what's the difference between what you go through at Walmart or Bass Pro shop, at an FFL
@ar15com
@ar15com 2 месяца назад
There is no difference. UBC would simply force all sales to go through an FFL.

Discharging a firearm with the limits of a city would be considered an ancillary right. The 2nd Amendment protects the right of a citizen to keep and bear arms in defense of him/herself and defense of the state. Part of defending self or state is the protected right to discharge said firearm for the purpose set forth in the original amendment. Therefore any law that criminalizes the exercise of the protected right for the purpose as written would be unconstitutional. An example would be prohibiting the use of ink for printing presses. That prohibition adversely affects the free exercise of the 1st Amendment, thus it would be considered Unconstitutional.

Here, in Central Texas, developers successfully shut down a couple of long distance shooting ranges by claiming they were a danger to the residents of exclusive communities they planned on building nearby. A new, private, long distance shooting range was built for the elites whose homes brought about the demise of the public long distance shooting ranges.
