I went for the first time in January and loved it. Food and service was great. The characters were amazing and so was the pog juice

Years ago we went there. The Lilo loved my son who was 10 at the time and she would not leave him alone! It was so cute!

I remember working temporarily at the shops in the Poly due to a hand injury, and I remember a couple of little girls looking through all the stitch stuff, and one of them went "There's not enough stitch stuff. Justice for Stitch!" as if there wasn't a giant wall of Stitch plushies behind her.

So love this Resort. My parents lived in Hawaii for three years and I was able to go visit them while they were there and we toured the Aulani and it was amazing. So we always love monorail hopping and visiting the Polynesian when we are there. The shop there is so amazing and then we go out the back and get some Dole whip. And yes, we went to the Dole Plantation when in Hawaii, it was so cool. Thank you for sharing this, wish I was there.

Ahhhhhhhh we were at the poly yesterday around 2pm and at 345pm we popped over to trader sams and surprisingly got a bar seat immediately… pure Disney magic

It seems like sometimes breakfast is a win-win or just okay. The characters sure are cute and I liked seeing Lilo’s interaction with Sam. The beach sure looks appealing.

This was cool to see interactions with characters and the foid looked delicious to me 😋 We country folk think that breakfast looks a bit like ours here in Tennessee😊 yummy 😋 My sister really is a big fan of Lilo and big hudge fan of Stitch. She really wants to do this, i definitely will have to book breakfast at Ohana on our next trip. The lunch and dinner menu is a bit 🤔 for us, but the Breakfast looks like we will enjoy it. I love the Polynesian, it’s one of my favorite resorts. I used to always have dinner at Ohana when I ever I went to Walt Disney World. Then I started to try new restaurants. I have been back a couple of times and it is good for breakfast and dinner I think I just would like to try different options. I’m excited to see what the new DVC resort is going to look like there.

I like The Polynesian! It is such a great and peaceful Resort to chill and relax. The breakfast looked good but I agree with Sam, a buffet is better. Nice catch with your hat. lol

When I go to WDW it is a must for me to spend an afternoon or evening there just soaking in the vibes and grabbing a cocktail or two at Trader Sam's. I know that you have done this review in the past, but I would love it if you would do another review of either Space 220 or The California Grill. Absolutely LOVE you guys and the videos :)

We actually went to 'Ohana dinner at the beginning of the month, after getting off the Dream. We loved it. Wanted to explore the resort but we were so tired and full. Definitely will go back though. It's a bucket list stay for sure.

Generally speaking I am not a fan of meals that come in a skillet. I prefer to choose exactly what I want to eat at that meal. And I have found that many of the character associated dining experiences the food can be lack luster. But I love the Poly and the many dining options available, we just went to Kona for lunch the other day and it was excellent 😍

We’ll be coming In June and we’re contemplating doing a character breakfast. Would love to see either cape may cafe or topolinos! Love your videos!

Such a beautiful resort and you had a gorgeous sunny day, too. Yeah, that new building under construction looks like a monstrosity. Hopefully it will fit into the theming when complete. Otherwise, they may have to cover it in vines. 🌱

My sister, brother, and I recently pooled all of our DVC points for 2 years in order to stay at the Polynesian's Bungalows. Was it worth it to blow all those points for 3 nights? Absolutely!!!

That's disappointing to hear about the food though I agree. Me and my husband did the 'Ohana character breakfast back in 2010 and we thought the food then was amazing! We went again in 2021 and we were disappointed with the food. At that point they weren't doing character breakfasts yet so just the food experience was eh. Bland.

People love Florida and just keep coming and coming. Hence all the building of new apartments and retail areas. Most of us can't complain because we came here too after loving it during vacations or visits. I share Sam's outlook on the characters, just give me better food. :)

Super fun character interaction but I do agree that the food is just meh. The photos on the beach came out beautifully! Of course when the subject is so photogenic, that makes perfect sense.

Lilo and Stitch is one of my fave Disney movies, and I have to say… they really need to reimagine Lilo’s costume. Or maybe she needs to be a face character?

I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on the expansion and growth in Orlando. Are too many people moving here? Can the area support such growth? How many people is too many? I was hoping if you would show the construction and progression of the new DVC Polynesian hotel tower. I really like it, it's based on one of the original ideas. Of what was supposed to be part of the Polynesian Resort, in the original design and when they made the model. There was supposed to be a towering hotel for the Polynesian Resort. I believe they probably didn't have enough money to make it, instead later on they decided to make a South Pacific village type resort. And since 1971, the Polynesian Resort always had that beautiful South Pacific village design. That was like a reminiscent of the enchanted tiki room, I also do believe it was inspired by the enchanted tiki room as well. The later design of the Polynesian Resort that is. But now with the new edition of the DVC hotel tower, it really looks like as if they finallybrought back the original hotel tower design. Of what was supposed to be the original Polynesian Resort design. Super Enthused I hope you know about it ? And what do you think, do you think they didn't have enough money at the time to do the original Polynesian hotel tower. And do you think they finally got to the original design, and are finally building it. But this time as part of the DVC ?

Great video looks like you had lots of fun. Shame you weren’t too keen on breakfast if you’re not breakfast people then you may not enjoy it as much as others. We ate breakfast there a few years ago, I enjoyed it as I thought the foods had lots of extra seasoning & was more tasty than other breakfasts. Chef Mickeys will probably always be top for us as it’s at our ‘home’ resort. Can’t wait to be there in 40 days ❤ 🇬🇧 It’s amazing how much we pay for breakfasts at WDW. I’m generally fine with The Contempo Cafe 😂

I feel kind of sorry for the people who`ve forked out megabucks to stay at the Poly, then have to listen to the construction noise and see that awful building. Really hope it looks a lot better when it`s done, to me it doesn`t fit in at all so far. Always enjoy a Jackie and Sam vlog though!

We were just there last Friday. I was a bit disappointed that we only received regular sausages rather than the larger style they used to have. Also, if you didn't know, you can ask for bacon and they will bring it. The table next to us got so jealous when they saw ours :D

Loved the video! Now I need to get over to the Polynesian and do some shopping! Such cute things you are showing us! The breakfast looked pretty good, the Ohana noodles used to be the big focus of the Ohana dinner offering (there was even a petition to bring back the noodles after they were left off the menu when Ohana reopened. Sadly, I had the noodles recently and they were a nasty oily inedible mess. Avoid. You made a good decision to go for characters and breakfast. 🌴

After watching your vlog on this restaurant it kind of burst my bubble a bit! I was so excited to eat here on our upcoming trip but you and Sam’s negative review kind of put a rain cloud on our plans to enjoy our Stitch breakfast. 😢

I agree, breakfast is okay, only because of the characters. We really love the dinner, even without characters. Just a few more days, celebrating my daughter’s 25th birthday and eat Ohana on that day. Love the video, and makes me more anxious to be there, Love Disney!❤️
