I was fishing/wading in Deer Creek down close to Chillicothe a few years ago, screwing around flipping over rocks and I flipped over an old pie pan, and the second I flipped it over about a 4 foot long water snake struck a me, scared the crap out of me.

Matt: man, we are at Paint Creek area and what is going on? I've observed we can have a downpour and the creek level does not rise. Seeing it everywhere: not just here.

I wish it was like that here. Slightest drizzle and they let out water from the East Fork.

Heading west on 28 out of Greenfield and before Leesburg Ohio there are several creeks (one is Lee's Creek). I travel over these and observe that we can have a downpour and the creek levels barely rise. Bizarre.
