This is such a dumb narrative. They’ve brought in 6 players from the portal and so they are “buying a national championship”. Meanwhile teams like Ole Miss and Texas A&M are bringing in 15-25 and no problem. You guys are a joke.

But it’s legal now. Ohio State football makes more money than any other school, so spend it. They also lost 4 recruits to Miami in the last year because of the money they were paying. Since Ohio State has jumped end all the sudden people are upset. At least it’s legal when Day is doing it.

“Michigan is doing it right”, adapt or die. If you’re not going to go get the best players (which costs money btw) you’re not going to be competitive. The amount of 5 stars that the sec collects EVERY year is proof positive of that. Better players win games. Do we need to review the amount of titles the sec has over the last two decades?

I am really tired of this narrative. The rules are different. Ohio State ain’t bringing in a whole new team from the portal. These are players that WANTED to come to Ohio State, and Ohio State just provided what the market provides. These are the rules now. The SEC did this for years while OSU played by the rules. Call out Miami except they aren't able with with their purchases. Why don't they win? OSU has a VERY favorable schedule in 2024. They really only play 1-2 tough games at Oregon & Michigan at home. However, I don’t think Michigan will be nearly as good. I’m not counting PSU until they can prove to win a big game. I think I’d lean to pick OSU to finish the regular season at #1. UGA will be good, but they play three top 7 teams on the road next year. It’ll be extremely difficult for UGA to go undefeated in the regular season and finish #1. Going all in to win a championship is a huge gamble. If it works out great! If it doesn’t heads could roll. It’s extremely tough to win it all. Not all talented players always work out on new teams and there are other talented teams also trying to win it all. We shall see! Already can’t wait for 2024!
