The Ohio State University Marching band performed a Beatles Tribute halftime show titled "Fifty Years Since The British Invasion." Played to the East side of Ohio Stadium, the Best Damn Band In The Land (TBDBITL,) played "Sgt. Pepper" Fanfare, a medley of "She Loves You" and "I Saw Her Standing There." Then a medley of "Ticket To Ride", and "Help!". The final selection were "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude", including an audience sing-along. Music arranged by Tatgenhorst.

@@purplehaze1274 at 9:20 the band besides the sousaphones stop playing which I assume is to chant that, and I'm pretty sure they can get loud enough to sound like that, along with any of the audience singing along

ChernovFan100 but band fans don't go for the game! The real show is the halftime show! I've always wanted to go to one of these just for the band. I don't watch football. Or sports, for that matter.

Absolutely brilliant and uniquely American. We need some of this in the AFL. These guys and girls are so well drilled and disciplined. But the little bloke at the front works his/her heart out but looks a little lonely and forgotten at times, despite his/her tricks which are pretty mindblowing on their own. Fantastic stuff

They have a drum corps, it’s different from a standard marching band, in that only brass and percussive instruments play

I was searching for marching band stuff for The Beatles that isn't the Bluecoats, and I came across my favorite college marching, the OSUMB. When I read the date of this show, I realized I was THERE all those years ago to see it live. Can't believe I don't remember that.

Not a fan of 'Football' particularly, but this blows our half time Soccer breaks out of the water. I'm usually queuing for 15 minutes for a pint! America, I am proud of you.

Impressive. I truly think that the Buckeye Band is the best, hands down. Great job. I lived in Dayton, Ohio for 3 years and I have never heard the OSU band. I am totally enthralled by the music, movement, and formations. Superb. Can't wait to see and hear more.

Not sure how I found my way here, but...I am a Longhorn fan so there is no love lost for the Texas A&M Aggies, but I must say the Aggies win all half time shows. This is good and precise, but there is a power in the close formation marching the Aggies do that blows this away.

2013 was a grear year for the OSUMB.......Disney/Shrek, Hollywood Blockbusters, this, "Are You Smarter than a Wolverine?", and of course Micheal Jackson......and I'm sure I'm missing one or two more as well

Why did everyone conspire to hide this from me? I demand answers! :-) Trivia: My husband was the first, and as far as I know, the only, guitar player to have performed with TBDBITL. An abbreviated version of TBDBITL made a promotional appearance at a venue where Jim (Lynch) was performing in the mid-nineties. Jim's electric guitar has a wireless rig, so he joined the formation and played the guitar parts in Hang On Sloopy.

I'd like them to try something like "Being for the benefit of Mr Kite" or something really difficult. But marching on a field precicely, and playing at the same time has got to take some ridiculous amount of practice. These guys basically dedicate their lives to this, I knew a guy who had a hard time tearing himself away from the band after he graduated he was so dedicated

Ludo Cuba maybe, but frontward facing would look better. I am in a marching band, so I do know a few things. I suppose every band does it's own thing though.
