I have the WR120 and at school we had to shelter in place! Luckily, I brought my WR120 so it was our only information. We were in a bathroom. I swear, I could FEEL the wind but we survived.🙂
Exactly. I was pretty much scared for my life when it happened, and I wasn't ever in a SVR or TOR. *Trust your guts with these storms. IF you have a bad feeling about the storm and you are in a TOA, get everything ready and be ready to take cover.
I live in Lawrence County Ohio. I remember this. Pretty bad scary day.I got my first NOAA weather radio and I have two profiles, I got it set up for like three counties around me. So I’m prepared for this severe weather season.
I have a police radio and a portable noaa weather radio. For the people who say "wHy Do YoU hAvE a PoLiCe RaDiO. yOu DoN't NeEd It." Put on your dunce cap and sit in the corner. Local Law Enforcement are immediately gather to get the storm's location to get the public to safety.
This was surprising i actually got a half tornado watch for hancock county ohio it was surprsing and i think a tornado hit dayton either that day or someime else lol

(THIS IS FOR 2022) I was in Montgomery County at first it was a tornado watch I got scared because it went off and the wr-120 is Heckin loud, then there was the warning I screamed TORNADO WARNING THIS IS NOT A DRILL multiple times I cried I thought I was gonna die it was a ef2 not even close to me
@@DenverTheWindows11Guy Dude, I posted this comment MONTHS ago when Ohio was still a meme, but beginning to get old. I understand that the situation these people were in was particularly dangerous and did not intend to make fun of them.
