He's a Congressman in a traditionally blue district. This is his first statewide election where the entire state gets to vote for him. He's gonna lose. He even swore on stage.
"Tim Ryan has served in congress since 2003 and Ohioans think he's done a bad job according to Vance. " Renaming post offices is exactly what the people in ohio need.
@@do.u.groove5112 well people need to have common sense. All the bills that Ryan supported has brought manufacturing and natural gas jobs back to Ohio. Multiple companies are coming to Ohio to make electric batteries, cars, and natural gas! Lk we need to stop catering to fear and look forward to reality. Republicans just fear mongering but don’t have no solutions!!!!
Mr Outrage tim ryan been there quite awhile whats he done ? I hate this kind of rhetoric from an empty suit !! Has your life improved because of policys ryan has supported ?
That's not necessarily true and I'd rather hear that then "experts, knowledgable sources" etc. "WE THE PEOPLE, OF THE UNITED STATES, IN ORDER TO FORM A MORE PERFECT UNION....." It's the people who matter; experts are a dime a dozen and are most often bought off, biased, cherry-picked, etc.

Clearly you must of watched something else. Vance did not explain anything specifically to help Ohio..just blame the Dems!! What are the solutions to crime, healthcare and jobs??!! Just blaming the Dems is not going to work!
The irony is JD Vance literally has no plans to help Ohio, his whole game plan is saying "Tim Ryan sucks" without backing up how he would do things better.
Wow, could somebody at WFMJ TV21 have spent just a little more money on a professional looking set for this debate? ... much less more time actually putting it together. This whole thing reeeks of a low-rent, high school level, debate club event hazardly pieced together by a bunch of 10th grade amatures. This is horrid.
I'm only 8 min. in and J.D. still kissing a s s. Not answering the question. Amazing how well Rep. can deflect and not answer the questions presented to them.
The lying sack of BS is Tim Ryan. You’re way off base!! Ryan has had 20 years in office and WHERE ARE WE NOW?? Failure after failure isn’t helping Ohioans. You must have your head buried in the clay to not know this. Also EVERY TIME Tim was asked questions he preceded to change the topic mid-answer. What were you listening to? Inflation is a global issue. You can't blame Democrats for that. Blame the pandemic leading to supply chain issues. Putin's war in Ukraine contributed to inflation as well. Corporations are artificially raising prices.
Ah, the tired and simple Biden came in and caused global inflation in a short time span and it’s all the Democrats fault argument. You give him no credit, yet so much power at the same time.
@@kennet7837 Democrats absolutely contributed to inflation with out of control spending, lockdowns and paying people not to work. Like are you serious?
"Weapons of war" Oddly enough the semiautomatic ar-15 is not issued to a single armies general infantry on this planet. That hasn't stopped people from stretching it into one. Just because it has "Quickly interchangeable parts" is how that one is usually ran and it makes no sense because those parts are not available to the general public. So how far back does the weapons of war kick go? Pump actions guns not allowed anymore because our military has used them? Semi-automatic pistols are also in there. How can someone say "Common sense gun control" while at the same time running with hyperbole?
Democrats want to entirely take away guns as they did in the UK so that the populace is under their complete control (as it now is in the UK) and crime will skyrocket (which it did in the UK and has only gotten a little better since then - still the same number of murders in London as in NYC in 2018, they are using knives in London now!).
We don’t use pump action shot guns in infantry. No where in combat arms. The MP’s may have them in their armory, maybe some special forces & in. Iraq & Afghan. M-4, A-4, A-2, .50 cal, mark-19, m-203 grenade launcher, m-249 saw, M-240G (USMC), M-240B(Army).
The AR-15 was designed as a weapon for the military . It was designed to unalive multiple people quickly and accurately. It absolutely was not designed for civilian use. You know that. I know that. That said, I am not for banning them outright. In fact, I may or may not own 2 of them. However, I am 100% for strict gun law reform that would make them a lot more difficult to obtain. No one “needs” an AR-15 for home defense, and certainly not for carry. If someone wants one, they can go through rigorous background checks and red flag laws to get one. There is no immediate need for them, and too many people are using them for mass shootings. It’s a serious problem, and it absolutely needs to be aggressively addressed. My right to own any firearm should never trump the rights of others to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Right now, when a disturbed 18 yr old kid can purchase 2 and 1600 rounds of ammo without issue, it is. I cannot support that. No sane law abiding citizen without I’ll intent should have any issues making it difficult for those who aren’t to obtain one of these very deadly weapons. Period.
@@DuckDuckDad Well said from a war veteran. The civilians have no idea!!! NEVER should be allowed on the Streets or with the police. They are not trained to standards or have the war experience as the military and war veterans!! Period!!!
@@DuckDuckDad There is a long history of weapons made that have both military and civilian models. Civilian models are semi-automatic whereas the military ones are not. That is why they went with different naming designations to begin with. The AR-15 isn't used by the armed forces and to say it is is disingenuous. Oh and it was made to maim not "Unalive" whatever the F that means lol. It was adopted by the armed forces because it wounds not kills, by design by the way. Its called a "wounding round" for a reason. That and because the ammo was lighter thus more can be held and easier logistics wise. A wounded soldier has to be carried off the battlefield which in turn takes more than 1 soldier to do the deed.
Vance literally kept repeating the same crap again and again from the last debate, but this time he comes off as a bit more desperate honestly. Edit: scratch that, a lot more desperate

You can't bring the price down until you can manufacture and sell thousands of them. You address the future (and lower prices) by building the battery manufacturing factories now for higher production which yields lower prices.
@@oldsrocket8841 We never stopped seriously drilling. Doing even more drilling will not change anything because refining capacity is down. Refineries have been closed. Some were damaged due to hurricane and are closed/offline and some are being converted to produce other fuels. Realize oil companies make tens of billions more money when refining capacity is down. They have no incentive to increase production. Also, oil companies are moving away from oil fuels. Ask Google: How much oil is left in the world? Oil is not infinite. This is why lil companies are diversifying their businesses to solar, wind, batteries. I didn't even get to the war in Ukraine, Russia and the long term issues coming from the COVID supply chain problems. The issues remain the same.
@@TanukiOfficial Really? Then why did Joe sign executive orders on day one to change course and then why did the price begin to spike immediately afterwards? Keep in mind that the National average for gas never even reached $3 a gallon under Trump. It stayed below $3 during his entire 48 months in office. It was above $3 for 46 out of 96 months during the Obama years and has been way above $3 a gallon for 19 of Joe's 21 months in office. It was $1.99 on election day. Joe had to tap our reserves to even get it to where it is now after Trump filled the reserves at $25 a barrel and the virus and shutdowns did nothing to effect prices under Trump.
I'm surprised Tim Ryan didn't bring up Jeffrey Dahmer, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, Hitler and try to associate them with JC..he literally tried to connect ANYTHING to JD.
Tim Ryan if you consider someone joining the military abandoning Ohio you have offended a lot of military families. My husband was in the military for 20 years. When he was done serving his country we moved back to Ohio and put down roots from where we were from! He joined the military that's not abandoning Ohio. A lot of people when they are young leave Ohio thinking they want to see what's out there. He got his 1st degree from OSU, so stop saying he abandoned Ohio. I dont feel like he abandoned Ohio. The ones that have many experiences and come back are some of the best people and have a lot to offer. You sound more like your upset that he lived some place you didnt.
Lori Nelson JD graduated from Middleton in 2003. He then enlisted in the marine corps from 2003-2007. Came back to Ohio and got his bachelor degree at OSU. While going to college he worked for a senator. After he got his BA he decided to become a lawyer and that was at Yale. He moved to San Francisco, because that is where his job took him. I don't consider that abandoning OH. JD moved back to Ohio in 2017. Please explain to me why Tim Ryan insists that is abandoning OH?
So very true. To this day, Tony's death/murder has never been investigated simply because he was a white man who was killed by cops, one of them being a black cop. His death doesn't fit their agenda. Say his name! #TonyTimpa

President Trump has already said he would love to come and testify in front of the January 6th committee in fact he might just do that and he's looking forward to it. Lol
In Trump language that translates to " he would hate to testify in front of the January 6th committee in fact he just might delay it as long as he can and he's dreading the day he's forced to comply"
I heard Trump's speech that day and he repeadedly said to peacefully and patriotically march down to the Capital, which had been done by various groups many times in the past. I saw what happened on election day 2020. I saw the vans pull up with the ballots in bags, boxes and no chain of custody, I saw the windows covered to the rooms where they did the vote "curing", I saw the people post vid that were DEMOCRAT volunteers in the counting centers saying they saw massive irregular and illegal actions, and I could go on and on and on...

Ohio murder rate was 19th out of 50 in the country in 2021. He's more concerned about the 7 unarmed black shot by cops then the 1762 that were gunned down in violent crimes.
