He has a video on SIH (Steam Inventory Helper) that you should watch, it's not the only plugin people use, but it's one of the popular ones. It just displays item data that you can see in game when you can "inspect" the skin and hover over the "i" bubble (shows float, pattern ID, etc)

Some do care, it’s a well known subcommunity within csgo. Ohne knows lots of pros and borrows skins to them, he’s just disappointed when they don’t have the best of the best skins not legitimately criticizing them.
