I dont understand the people that complain about the pauses. If you dont want the pauses, just watch the original video? If he wanna watch it and you dont want the pauses just mute his stream and watch it yourself and after that come back to his stream. Then you already watched it and you dont care about the pauses.
That's why to fill the screen in 4:3 it's called "stretched". Whether or not it matters to the player is the real question. There are situations where you don't spot a player outside the fov but with good crosshair placement and awareness it shouldn't be a huge issue. New players should definitely stick with 16:9.
@@steverho3280 No it appears to move faster because it has to cover more horizontal area of the screen. The actual point at which you're aiming is identical because the game has no idea the image is stretched.
It honestly depends on the game, the "lazy" aproach would be to just remove the sides of the screen and stretch, but some games calculate fov according to your resolution, like valorant for exemple
8:55 Yes, it is on every map. Apparently it was changed after a moment at a tournament where people went to the wrong bomb site after hearing it on Nuke. Now, there’s a unique noise for A and B.
7:27 but even Faceit servers are 64 tick now, the game is hard coded into 64 ticks, the only thing is that Faceit servers have less stress. But is actually a placebo effect the game logic does not give above 64 ticks since November or so of 2023...
Good point, although anomaly could've based his verdicts on something else than "I asked streamers" to begin with if he wanted to be credible instead of just blindly hating on the game
that no scoping is hilarious. because the amount of people i knew back in source that would literally draw crosshairs in the center of their monitor so they hever had to scope.
the calculation for jump hight is based on player origin or in game scene node terms root bone which is at the bottom of the player where the collision meets the ground/floor meaning if you jump and reach 54.67 this is the base jump height which does not change when jump/crouching so where does the 11 extra units come from ? Well you jump first giving you velocity based on an jump velocity attribute you keep that velocity when you crouch but your model is smaller now since you crouched mid air the players origin adjusts to the crouch giving an extra 11units so you keep upwards momentum and at the same time the lower half of the body when crouching goes up (into a crouch)
surprised more people don't know about the different bomb sounds depending on site. I have known about it for a long time and it's an ASSET on maps like nuke to know what site bomb is on just by hearing the sound
9:15 at the end of life of CS:GO sites had different sounds. It was changed shortly after a Liquid game where they got the bombsite wrong in Nuke, like few days or weeks after. At release of CS2, sounds were identical to CS:GO but then it got changed again to make the sounds even more different, which is what we have now.
Just wanted to point out the peekers advantage, since it may seem like peeker has a advantage but actually it depends on the distance of the angle hes peeking. Therfore peekers advantage depends if the peeker or the holder of the angle is closer to the angle.
That last myth brought back so much nostalgia that it hurt to see what's STILL missing from the game. So many maps I forgot about while I play premier and ban the same two maps every game first phase. Still don't get why Underpass isn't in rotation though.
20:43 it increases loss of points after 2 matches, if you want to get back on regular level, you have to win at least 3 matches, it doesnt matter if you havent lost the third match in a row, only 2 are enough
@@AlphaZero22. He is a Swede much like me, one of the best English speaking countries in the world at almost Nr.1 spot for English speaking non English countries so that's not an excuse. Furthermore English is heavily based on Swedish as we traded a lot of grammatics during the viking invasions, hence why some parts of the languages are so similar: Arm - Arm Bone - Ben Finger - Finger Hair - Hår Etc etc you get it, but best of all, Myth - Myt. The word is almost the same thing and given the similar grammatical structure of our language there is no way he doesn't get it. Add further onto this that regardless of accent, not understanding the meaning of "myth" as if your language has no concept or translation of what that is/means is absurd and he would have to lack an insane amount of intelligence for this to add up. Anyway, acoustic Reddit AcTuAlLy rant, over. 🤣 Sorry, I'm very boring at parties and just had to point it out.
@@gamma2816 jag kan tala svenska så jag vet vad du menar. Men många människor från Sveriges pratar dåligt engelska (Swedish is my third language so if there's a mistake u know why)
@@AlphaZero22. Same lol, third language too, eyyy trilingual brother! 😎👉👉 I'm "Swungarian" Swedish/Hungarian lol. But yeah I see I see, true though, Swedes talk English so cringe, hate the accent, glad I don't have it. But we're basically saying that language isn't the issue but Anomaly is dum dum then? 🤣🤣🤣 Or a mix of both? I love the guy but it's fun to meme on the dude. But oh well, fun to meet another triple linguist. Either way, förväntade inte det spontant på RU-vid liksom.
The bomb tick originates from the early days of GO iirc. It was due to a shit sound system, because of which A and B on Nuke couldnt really be differentiated anymore.
pretty sure elo +/- is determined by losing streaks, getting more is also harder than losing elo, my win rate is about 50% (tiny bit higher), losing two games in a row creates a massive elo loss, losing just a few even to bad teammates cripples me elo wise. Carry or not elo loss is insane for a small losing streak, getting it back also takes more games than losing it.
21:00 I would assume Valve uses something similar to ELO rating in chess where the plus/minus adjustment for a match depends on your historical skill and the opponents historical skill.
@@dimitar4y ELO rating is pretty simple to calculate. Your rating change might be sum of your and opponent rating + 1000 divided by the amount of players for a win, and same as above -1000 for a loss. Nothing more complicated is required to have ELO-like system of rating.
@@dimitar4y Yes, I know. I was simply explaining that chess style ELO rating that's mathematically valid is really easy to implement. Valve engineers do not appear to be stupid so I would assume they have at least something equally good.
@@MikkoRantalainen yes, and valve engineers are not stupid, they're not engineers, they're hustlers/thieves, and they're raking it with minimal effort (:
21:22 as someone who ends up at the top of the scoreboard (I'm not that good but my friends are new at the game) mvps and scoreboard stats don't matter at all, in fact, a dude that was new hot into a higher rank than me cuz he only played like 12 matches, while i played around 50 (at the beginning of cs2)
The rating loss and gain is based on your teams total rating vs the enemy team's total rating. So if your team has 30k total rating, and the enemy team has 35k total rating, you will gain much more and lose much less.
thats crazy that Valve says 128 tick causes issues with the game, while they were reworking the whole engine and game. instead of trying to cut corners and implement subtick, they easily couldve just fixed whatever "issues" theyre claiming. like, 128 tick already existed on CSGO and valorant. its just a cost thing imo, they dont wanna spend the money for 128tick servers
only reason valve doesnt do 128 tick is because of server costs. as simple as that. all other excused would mean their code is screwed in some way, which would make it look even worse from a developer pov lol
Yeah true. I mean you don t buy a helmet but what happens if they have an awp for example and then they shoot with pistol cause they missed first shot. I mean yeah it's a good eco tactic but it is always nice to have it if you have enough money.
Jumping and then crouching late isn't higher, you're just pulling in your legs, Crouching and then immediately jumping, or crouching and jumping at the same time made you jump slightly higher (few examples on mirage etc. where you can get on boxes like that)
CS:GO had the weirdest reasons to crash 27:40 i had it crash on nuke and dust II but only after warmup was over Ancient had shading problems that caused crashes after 18 rounds or so crash after playing 2 matches and not restarting
genuinely im like 2 or 3 weeks of no anticheat before i start cheating. not because im getting cheated on but because i can see valve does nothing about it and ive never cheated in a game before so might as well do it safely in cs2 where no one gets banned and i can go back to legit after they announce the anticheat coming out in 2026
i just played a match where i had a 3 second still screen while getting shot at and then never after i still survived cause the opponent missed all shots but it's definitely not fun
Fun fact: if there Is a light behind a smoke in front of you, you can se the enemy inside. For example the light on ancient B side inside the Little Temple, going to mid.
i swear cs2 could be goated if just valve used some brain... 3rd party anti-cheat, leaving rank system as it was / making premier + old competetive... THEY LEGIT TOOK 7 MONTHS TO ADD hand change ??? like wtf they're legit trolling. they cut so much content and completly ruined this game... 3/4 matches of premier are with cheaters... its rly sad what they've done to the game EDIT: ah yes spray and awp are also so bad in cs2 it's not even a joke xd
I just don't like that the 10 second warning no longer is a 10 second warning, now you can't run away if you're too late because you won't be sure if you'll make it
I used to be a global elite in csgo with my nvidia 420 and 40 fps but now i couldn't even win a gold nova match most likely (if against csg gold nova equal players)
I once left my PC queuing for a Dangerzone game for 4 hours and still didnt get a game. I played cs for 4 years and was never able to try the Dangerzone gamemode. :(
The way Valve should fix cheating is to use AI to identify cheaters and the adjust matchmaking so that all cheaters play against cheaters only. Basically silent ban and don't tell about it to the cheaters. Once cheaters feel that *everybody* playing CS2 is using cheats, it's no longer fun for them and they will quit playing the game. It should be pretty easy to let AI go through e.g. a game per player per day (no need to render it, just compute vectors) and see if the player is using wallhacks or other cheats - that is, if they are clearly having additional information sources in addition to the officially available data.
Imo, Danger Zone came out too early, with Pubg, H1z1, etc out there causing mayhem. Now if they release it, I'm sure it would do wayyyyy better than it did in the past, even if Warzone is out right now.
