I’ve been using Ohuhu alcohol markers for the past year. Love the pastels for the floral and botanicals. There are a few sets within sets. The pastel is a part of Honalulu where other is Oahu, these have the most colors. There are even more named after the islands. Strongly encourage using marker paper it works best without bleed. The other papers bleed and feather. So glad you’re using these markers, so much fun!❤

Ohuhu also told me that I should wait a full minute for the black to dry before putting another color near it! I can't wait to play with them some more!

Hi Kelli. I use Ohuhu alcohol markers too! I love all the colors. I may get the fine liners though. Yay. Glad they sent them to you.The blender may also push back the color if one goes over a line. I always make a swatch card so I know exactly what the color looks like. Nice to see all the colors at a glance. That must be tough to be color blind.

I never knew that I was until adulthood! Luckily, it's minor, so I see color just not the variations that other people see. I truly think that is why I was so drawn to Zentangle! Just black and white!

I loved these pens, but I'm allergic to alcohol so I don't think I'd be able to use them unfortunately, they look so beautiful too, I'm glad I got to see them even if I wouldn't be able to use them, thanks Kelli for showing them to us. I don't know if you've seen these pens called Steadler Pigment Arts, I've seen them in my art supply store and they look very interesting but I'm unsure if they're alcohol based as well.

I use the Staedtler makers set 120 double ended fine 0.5 and the brush side is 3.0. Plus a set of fineliners 0.3 they are water-based. They do not bleed into the micron pens. Purchase at a craft store of course with coupons. 😂 My grandson use the Ohuhu I can’t use because of the alcohol. They are beautiful indeed.

That was fun. I started using alcohol markers (Copic) probably about 15 years ago with my cardmaking. Once you learn how to blend and highlight, it will be quite addicting! You're lucky to get this set! I love the sped up version of your drawing!!

If the black ink smears, it may stain your color marker. Make sure you mark the color pen on a scratch sheet of paper to wipe the black ink off before you use it again. It has happened to me. I do love the pens. Thanks for sharing.
