Hey bruh, for us “visual learners” would you consider a video regarding the newer Mercury 75, 90 and 115hp spark plug change? Specifically the removal of the number-4 plug, which is the most difficult to remove and re-install…🤬 P.S. Love-your-videos… 🛥🔧

I have a Mercury 75 hp. , 4 stroke efi. But I don’t have a oil plug. On the side that lets me drain the oil with a tube , do you know if they make one for it?

What if the boat is not used that much? Do you change the oil every year? I have a 2018 with only 35 hours

Most manufacturers will recommend the oil to be changed every 100 hours, or once per year, whichever occurs first. Throughout the offseason condensation can build in the oil sump area on many outboard and sterndrive engines, so it is important that this oil is drained and replaced with new, fresh oil.

If you've broken the seals on your Mercury Marine outboard oil drain valve, we recommend contacting your nearest Mercury Marine dealer for assistance. Replacement seals are available. 👍

Hi Jeff! Sorry if it wasn't mentioned verbally in the video, but it shows the engine oil filter part number in the beginning (877761Q01) and the oil shown in the video to be 10W-30.

Nice video. I have Mariner 50 hp 2015. which Oil Will you recomand me? Is Quicksilver 4-Stroke Marine Oil Synthetic Blend 25W-40 genuine?

You are correct; the manual for your engine recommends 25W-40 synthetic blend. Quicksilver is a parts and accessories sub-brand of Mercury Marine, so our 25W-40 synthetic blend would be the same oil you'd find in the Mercury packaging at your local dealer. 👍
