Woodside has been drilling offshore wells in Australia and across the globe for over 60 years. We are committed to drilling our wells in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
Thank you! Very simplistic but informative! Great explaining, narrating, and design! God bless all the people that have helped us get here and still allow us to do this and provide this beautiful world life! Thank you! 💓
Great overview of offshore drilling at Woodside! 👏🛢 Interested in the advanced technology used in the process, especially with Gilbarco equipment. Also, kudos to The John W Kennedy Company for their contributions to the industry!
Hello dears 🌸 💢Oil sons channel is interested in explaining everything about oil and gas field, companies, and operations.💯 So if you are interested in this field, u can follow and subscribe our channel.❤️👄
I feel so unlucky to the fact that I wasn’t born where I can work in this industry 😢, although companies like this one is operating on my country’s soil that’s about as close as I’ll get to them
You are not unlucky. You just need determination and persistence on pursuing your dreams to work in the industry. I wasn't born either in a country that has oil and gas industry but I was able to bring myself in the industry.
Thanks for this useful information, and I have important question: As you know natural gas is most wanted fuel than crude oil. OK Why they don't converted all crude oil to gas same as FCC process but to produce gas only and some residual carbon? Is there any process to cracking all crude oil to gas? I am waiting for your kind reply Regards
Of course, the world inner core is growing because humans have taken oil and gas out of the earth since 1852 and therefore there is room for the inner core to grow and therefore the heat on the earth grows from within, says Hendrik Johannesen from the Faroe Islands
Eventually we’ll come to realize that, regardless of the stupendous amount of gas and oil that had existed, they were ‘finite resources’ that would have lasted a lot longer had we done a better job of supplementing them with renewables and utilizing their energy more efficiently and judiciously. Also, this would have slowed the rise of greenhouse gases in the biosphere and helped mitigate the negative effects of global warming. Epitaph: “What Did They Think Would Happen? Answer -They Didn’t”
We have a lot of gas and oil. Just population boom made us require more energy. renewable makes up such a small percentage of energy and you need specific areas for some renewable to work.
What about the positive effects of global warming? Or, the positive effects of abundant energy? Solar and wind are great too, the more energy the better of course. But they're very material and land intensive, and less energy dense. I would argue large scale mining is much more damaging to the environment than drilling holes, even when accounting for oil spills -- after all tailings spills have often happened in mining operations causing immeasurable damage.
Hi guys please the company UKoil&GAS is offering me a job and they want me to pay the half of the Visa 500$ and the problem that I'm not sure if I have to pay because I fear to lose my money for nothing Please someone help me with some information
These oil drilling area oil is not really good unlike those is north South pole drilling cause they have too much water mixture and heat under the ground surface.thats why fuel run out easily and damage enjine oil
If you don't have the intelligence please don't place comments , I know for 100% sure you use the oil and gas that's produced from this industry yet you put it down and complain , placing a comment on this or any video requires oil . If you put down this industry just remember you are part of the reason it's necessary 💯
Total income 2020-2021: $6.7 billion AUD Company tax paid: $0.00 AUD Emissions: 47.5 million tonnes CO2 since 2016 - equivalent to those of 3.1 million Australians in a year Woodside Petroleum is Australia’s home-grown gas goliath, a tax-avoiding, ancient art vandal and chronic polluter of our nation’s air and sea. The corporation banked an eye watering $7.7 billion in income in 2020-21 but paid no (zero, none, zilch) company tax. Existing emissions and plans for growth: Woodside has pumped 47.5 million tonnes of harmful carbon pollution into the atmosphere since 2016. Far from working to cut its emissions, Woodside is actively pursuing new fossil fuel business. In July 2022, it bought all of BHP’s petroleum assets, making it one of the largest extractors of fossil oil and gas in the world. The corporation is now pushing ahead to open up two new mega gas fields in Scarborough, off Karratha in WA,and Browse - north of Broome - that would blast Australia’s emissions reduction targets out of reach., Political donations: While a tax scrooge, the corporation has been happy to dole out more than $2.2 million dollars in donations to major political parties over the past decade and has benefited from huge chunks of cash from the public purse to bankroll its fossil fuel business model. For example, Woodside received $8.8 million from the former Morrison Government to provide advice on how to clean up an abandoned oil vessel it was responsible for off the coast of Darwin. That means you and I - yes the Australian tax-payer - paid a colossal multinational polluter to tell the government how to clean up a mess IT made! Leaky coverups: Woodside has a history of covering up its dirty deeds. In 2016, the corporation spilled 10,500 litres of oil into the sea, with the leak continuing for two months but it didn’t tell the community, regulators or even its own investors. Meanwhile, Woodside’s enormous gas processing plants on the Burrup Peninsula is exposing one million ancient Indigenous rock engravings to noxious damaging emissions. This is threatening to become what Carmen Lawrence, former WA Premier, has called a repeat of the destruction of Juukan Gorge. It’s clear Woodside won’t cut emissions on its own - the corporation is actively working to grow them by developing new gas projects. That’s why we need a strong Safeguard Mechanism that can force major polluters like Woodside to start cutting carbon emissions, for the sake of a safe climate.
Did you know that oil was formed from the large decayed trees and animal carcasses as a result of the worldwide flood in Noah's day, when God caused it to rain for forty days and forty nights? God used a strong wind to buried the trees and carcasses of man and beast in the earth under great pressure. Genesis 6:17,18 Genesis 8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged.
This is bullshit. There is no oil under the sea.The oil is something they manufacture . If it was real they would not show to you animations but real photos of the process.
I understand the fact that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but investing today is a hard thing to do because I have no idea of how and where to invest in?
