Oil and Gas Engineering Choke Valve (Part 4B) 

Choke Valves are severe service valves which are designed specifically for oil and gas wellhead applications, both in a surface and subsurface services.
Choke valves serve is to kill the pressure from reservoir and to regulate the downstream pressure in the flowlines. Choke Valves are subjected to typical wellhead extreme conditions which can cause erosion, corrosion and other damage.
Include high fluid velocity slugging, sand production & multiphase of Oil, Gases and Water.
Choke Valve must have a very high turn-down capability as it must cover a wide range of flowrates.
