The Federal Republic of Nigeria is bidding to host the headquarters of the $5 billion Africa Energy bank in Abuja, as it aligns with the country’s strategic position as a leading Energy producer.
The call for support was made in Abuja by heads of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources to a gathering of African Petroleum Producers Organizations member countries.

It is the federal capital!! The NNPC head offices are already in Abuja, so why not? Simple!!! OPEC's headquarters is in Vienna Austria, which produces no oil, and is not a member of OPEC! But it does a good job!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!
