Good job Dan, you are a man of many skills. I thought you only get an accurate oil level reading after you’ve run the engine and let the oil circulate through it. But maybe that’s a minor detail and you get a good enough idea checking the way you did.
It sucks working on the ground on your back. You definitely need to invest in a 15mm wrench.. the job is definitely easier when you have the right tools.
Ratchet was fine, not even an issue. I’ve been wrenching on cars since I was 10 and this is just a vehicle. A friend has loaned me for a while and he bought the oil and filter for me to change because he said it hadn’t been changed in years the vehicle usually just sits in a field
