Great video, what magnification do you use to read the equal to or greater than 5 micron and equal to or greater than 15 micron in the ISO 4406 or 4407 using a microscope? We normally read SAEAS 4059 and use 4x, 10x, and 20x magnification to get the readings.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your feedback. It’s dependent on the microscope. Ultimately in both standards we are identifying into which range the particle size should be classified. We simply use all of the magnifications to do this.
