I find some of your techniques a little bit odd to what I often see in oil painting but the end result is amazing I wouldn't use plastic containers for flammable products,specially linseed oil since when it oxidizes it gets hot. there will probably never be a problem, but what if it there is, it often has a spontaneous combustion warning. Using the gamsol for the underpainting or priming it's better than linseed oil, linseed oil doesn't speed up the drying time, it makes it longer. fat over lean rule.

when you blend it too much the painting loses its saturation thats probably why they say that you shouldnt blend

quality wise, most definitely!! but if you’re on a budget then i don’t think it makes a huge difference to buy slightly cheaper oil paints

@@martzie505 omg I'm so sorry sweety u got ripped off, my teacher said reevees is absolute crap! Winsor and newton is much better its the one i use! :D mont marte seems to be pretty ok also from what I've seen on amazon, been thinking about getting it since it's pretty cheap

It took over a week to dry because you did linseed as the base. I found that if you just mix the paint with a tiny bit of linseed oil to sketch out your painting that works much better then covering all the paper in it. The paint also lays down better x

hmm i dont know too much about acrylics, but id say that you should definitely use less water so youre getting as much pigment as u can, and mix them exactly how u want to on your palette before painting !!
