I have the Sennelier and they’re reeealy soft and a little bit greasy, I have a little trouble getting opaque marks with them. I’m thinking I need to let the layers dry in between? I like the Paul Ruben’s a lot for the price. I’m also an art teacher.
Sennelier oil pastels are not the same consistency in all their sticks, so some pigments are more transparent. Is doesn't matter you apply more layers, is the pigment in itself that is transparent, plus oil pastels do not dry persé. Being an art teacher, Im surprised you don't know the basics...
@@veystone2580Sennelier inform you which pigments are used on each stick wrapper. The website also has details on each colour available and if they are transparent, semi transparent or opaque.
