I just want to mention that while trying your battle tribal deck I won by removing all oil counters from Archfiend of the dross with Render inert. Best win I've had in a while.
Watching LVD play underpowered decks is fascinating since we get to listen to him try to think of all the possible ways he could win even if they are exceedingly unlikely
I built pretty much this deck in paper after I saw you first Video - So affordable and so much fun. I had to swap out Brotherhood's end because it is too expensive - but it still worked great against pretty good decks. I would love to see more decks that are cheap in paper and still compete well. Lol cool my deck is so close to this, the only differences are I don't have all will be one and the double damage phyrexian, instead I run 4 Exuberant Fuseling and 4 free from flesh. That combo can give you a turn 2 9/5. Leaving you 1 hp off killing with a filigree. Usually the 9/5 kills everything leaving a forge to do it's work. I also have magmatic sprinters that help ramp really really fast.
I built an izzet oil/proliferate deck around the forge and it was amazing. I had the shark as well that paired well with it due to proliferate because it created those tokens that then got buffed.
It didn't end up mattering here, but in game 3, brotherhood's end could've killed the annex sentry by choosing to destroy all artifacts with CMC 3 or less. If all will be one was still on the field, that could've been some extra damage with another forge.
@@drejerm7856 again, it didn't come up, but all the creatures had pretty low toughness so with 3 forges and all will be one, that could've been some big damage
I’ve been trying out a deck similar to this. Been using Invasion of Tarkir and Shivan devastator, because if you have all the one all of the one one counters, a devastator has a trigger. Also, there’s a 3/2 with haste that enters the battlefield with 2 oil counters, which could be nice to add onto the forge or the sylex. Triggers nice all will be one. Cool deck and content😊
@@TheWorldsStage yes sir, that’s the guy, helps etb pumping forge, 2 damage ETB with AWBO in play and you can pick him up again and do that every turn if need be
On that last game, the goblin from Forge phases in. Does it has to get sacrificed at the end of turn ? The forge's trigger only affects the new token doesn't it ? You get to keep your goblin for ever?
i have been doing amazing with this deck is standard ranked queue, but terrible in standard play queue. the net decks don't know what to do with this if they can't remove the artifacts. Mono red is the only deck that where I have a losing record
This deck looks fun, but all the games are so irrelevant. Nobody in standard plays the decks your opponents were playing. Where is monored? (which is like 50% of all matches). Where are soldiers? Humans? Selesniya Enchantments? Blue-white controls, which can exile all of your artefacts on turn 5?
I’ve had about 12 matches with deck in BO1 and it’s done great , won 8 lost 3 1 draw. The meta it’s set to counter this strat in BO1. All my losses were to Redaggro. Good work Legend.
I'm surprised mono-red did that this deck seems setup to really punish small creature decks. Sure a red deck with a lot of burn can still get there but the more low to the ground beatdown version seems to have some problems.
I absolutely love Forge but mine didnt run as well as yours. Focused heavily on the forge so I threw in some Goldhounds for T2 Forges and Magmatic Sprinter. Never even tried to read Sylex past the boardclear ability so I really should add some of these!
Damn I feel smart I’ve been playing the old build since you dropped the last video but I cut two flamestokers for two all will be one’s thinking it would be for fun/meme but it actually just goes crazy haha
Hey LVD! Currently climbing from Diamond with this, thank you for that! Is there any chance that you might play with it again? I added 2 Thran Spiders for Powerstones and early staying power but maybe it could be improved further?
