My hats off you guys doing that for a living holy smokes you got one hell of a hard-ass job thank you for providing me with tuna fish or whatever other fish you guys catch I think tuna fish is all I can afford every now and then start fish for Mahi-mahi
We use circle hooks where I am and I'm not a big fan of autobaiters they see to miss and fling the bait off I'm still hand baiting tubs and using a pelican you have a nice setup though
That's a Boss arm-and-deploy method. Demersal deployment has higher rates of attrition but slow retrieval can spare barotrauma of certain kinds of interesting fishes. In some of the warmer climates this enables ranching of any species with active-opercular-pumping and taking-pellet. Seller controls price better than fresh and with lower energy costs than frozen.
Wow the guy or girl that came up with the mechanical aspectof this contraption is a genius what else can u say but wow good job and people wonder how food gets to or on there tables.
BETTER THAN GILL NETS I SUPPOSE, AT LEAST THEIR USING HOOKS. WE GOTA REMEMBER, THESE GUYS ARE FISHING FOR THEIR LIVELYHOOD, NOT FOR FUN LIKE AN ANGLER.
Best thing we ever did in Australia was ban long line fishing. How did we do it? With a Frigate on patrol and a 5000 ton factory ship/trawler arrested and forfeifed with no compensation. Then we got the cooperation of France, Chile, NZ and South Africa to deny them port facilities, fuel and victualling. Now if we could just get the Japanese to stop whaling in the Southern Ocean.
It is Trawling Nets that does the damage, destroying the sea bed, reefs and spawning grounds. Regulated long line fishing is far better for the environment. Fact !
Wow that freaking machine is awesome even come up with a machine to do that for I'm sorry meal every Jade a Joe Schmo sportfisherman Gadget it could make a killing dumper can of worms into a hopper push your own hook through and it's Baden ready to go no messing no messing your hands minnows whatever marshmallows you could figure out how to do that would make a killing
This is why we the people have fish regulations against us. Example (2 red snapper) during snapper season. It’s all so the commercial fisherman can make our crooked people at the top more money. The Ocean still we never be fished down.
Tide16nc relax. There's got to be some regulations somehow. Like you need a license to practice law etc., You think the commercial fish men don't work hard enough already?
We may not even get a red snapper season this year if majority of commercial fisherman get their 75lbs quota. Thats like 5 fish. I think thats a flawed system. Regulation is important to a degree sure but fairness to the every day fisherman seems to be an issue.
100% incorrect, you've never stepped foot on a long liner guaranteed... you are the type of person that spread bullshit your whole life without actually having a clue...
Asta encarnan el anzuelo mecanicamente... Asi de esa manera pienso que se pierde la esencia de la pesca como tal, No hay nada como la pesca artesanal...
Dislike, simple fact, fishing with long line and lots of hooks, thats called marine exploitation, as i practice sport fishing and u guys catch everything even the smallest fish
