OJ Simpson’s death spurs mixed reactions around the world 

To some of us, the color of his skin had nothing to do with the fact that he was a murderer.

OJ Simpson was a huge celebrity and icon when I was a kid. He was one of the greats. He had the looks and charisma. But like a Greek Tragedy, he fell from grace of his own doing. I watched the trial every day as did many in America. Yes. racism exists and there were racial tensions at the time. And Mark Furman was a racist cop. But this was a trial about domestic violence and a wealthy celebrity who got away with murder due to privilege. Even OJ's friends have said they believe he was guilty of the crime. OJ only has to answer to God now.

The O.J. Simpson case is a perfect example of "Rich Man's Justice."

It's sad that OJ got away with double murder.

I think we can agree that if he was lying about being in a hospice, he probably lied about the double murder. 😮

His life had the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

Im a black man and i can FULLY understand the way some white people feel about OJ . Ive been feeling the same way about George Zimmerman for years 👀

His denial/minimization about being seriously ill and in hospice shows his narcissism until the very end

Simpson's life deserves no coverage or retrospective. But with all that has been said, Kato's statements have been the truest, kindest and the most heartfelt for what and who remains behind.

If you would have told me akira toriyama gained nation wide grief while OJ Simpson was forgotten the next day? Would have never believed it!

My theory is it was OJ and his son who committed the murders. His son killed Ron and OJ killed Nicole. If it was only OJ, Nicole or Ron could have gotten away while OJ was killing one of them but he couldn’t confess and have his son go to prison.

Fun Fact: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) HELPED O. J. get off because "The Dream Team" (O. J.'s highly paid and experienced trial attorneys) SHOWED audio AND video evidence of members of the LAPD using racial slurs against O. J. AND planting evidence at the scene of the crime. BOTH of these things are ILLEGAL. The LAPD HELPED O. J. walk BECAUSE "The Dream Team" was able to clearly and successfully show racial BIAS was evident in the case. WHY is no one mentioning the LAPD's role in HELPING O. J. walk? 🤨

Personally, I feel he was guilty of those heinous murders. Still, that does not matter now. He is dead. He was a star running back in the NFL. Still, he is dead. There is little else to say at this point. He is dead.

Good World Gone Bad

Two books had not appeared on the national scene. 1. "Marry Smart" by Susan Patton. The Princeton Mom argues the importance of staying sharp in picking the right mate. Though the book was written for university students, this book could had been consulted. 2. "The Vanishing American Adult" by Ben Sasse. He is a Nebraska senator with a sense of history. Had these books been read by the murdered woman, the tragedy could have been avoided. "Hate oppression but fear the oppressed."

What benefit a man that gain the whole world and lose his soul, the word of God,😢

I have been thinking about this for years... O J Simpson didn't do it. It was his oldest son. Nicole and him were messing around and doing coke together. He got jealous of Ron Goldman and killed them both and O J protected him all these years.

The real victim here was Ron Goldman and his family, especially his Dad, Fred. That poor fellow was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. That being said, you got to read the story of OJ and Nicole's relationship from the get go. You got to understand what happened here. Let's face it. He was beating the bejesus out of her. But she never left! She continued to live in that mansion and she continued to accept his money. There was even trouble that night before she was killed. Nicole didn't invite OJ to be at the dinner with them for his own daughter. That's just plain mean. And in my mind that's called stirring the pot! And I heard Nicole also was supposed to have this dinner at Jason Simpsons restaurant. OJs oldest son. But she never showed up at Jason's restaurant and had this dinner somewhere else. See this is what I call trouble. One wouldn't do this kind of stuff if one was trying to keep the peace. Not in my mind. And who knows who really killed these people, Nicole and Ron Goldman!?? It looks like a slam dunk, OJ did it. It might not be as simple as that. These are particularly heinous murders. Nicole was almost decapitated and Ron had defensive wounds all over him like he put up a struggle. It might be OJ but he may have hired a professional hit on his wife. OJ'S escapades in that hotel room with his memorabilia proved to me what he was capable of doing and who he ran with and in what circles.

He was a football icon, and that is what I will remember him for. RIP OJ. Condolences to his family. I hope they get the respect and privacy they have requested.
