RIP #NormMacdonald, The #Oj jokes that got Norm fired from #NBC, if only he could of waited it out he'd be having a field day of the #news #Ojsimpson dead at 67. Oj Simpson dead! Norm Macdonald Oj Simpson Oj dead from #cancer
Cancer put on a small glove and demanded to be acquitted of the charges, and will spend the rest of it's life hoping not to run into OJ's real killer on the streets
For all these years, I’ve remembered this one: “The jury is divided into two camps: Those who think he is guilty, and those who are really, really stupid.” That sums up the whole trial perfectly .
In 30 for 30: OJ Made in America, it said that 75% of the jury thought it was impossible for OJ to commit the murders because he was so good at football at USC. The documentary also includes a clip of Barry Scheck lying about how the science of DNA analysis works and just outright making shit up. Then it cuts to the interview with Juror #2 saying "Barry Scheck was my favorite lawyer because he was really entertaining," so yeah, Norm's joke was 💯.
@@courtneyshannon2621I’ve read a lot more details about the jury selection process and the jurors, and it all tends to the same conclusion: Yhey somehow managed to have the 12 dumbest people in the State of California to be OJ’s jury. At a minimum, those who thought such a good football player couldn’t be guilty, should have been excluded “for cause.”
@@josephdykes1820: Murder is legal in the state of Californal gets me every time. The one about OJ refusing a lie detector because it detects lies was another great one.
Norm actually quit in solidarity with his writing partner who was fired for the OJ jokes. They tried to get him to stay but he was such a perfect man that he never once bragged about his selfless act.
I mean humble maybe but i wouldnt say he was a perfect man. He was actually a very troubled man who had an EXTREME gambling problem. He almost lost his house like 4 times because he bet it
@@kevino4846 LM didn't fire them, the killer's über-powerful golf buddy Ohlmeyer in charge of NBC at the time did. You know, that same golf buddy helping him scour every elite private golf course in the country for Nicole and Ron's "real" killer. ... Here folks were thinking that was just an old-school mafia-type thing. LM was just the greedy slithering coward who sold his soul - and Norm, along with the show's last inkling of credibility - to the MSM plutocrat devils. Few, if any, could have imagined that was such a profound harbinger of things to come...
Murderers have feelings too….. Like anger, rage, bloodlust. But jokes aside logically you’re wrong, it’s surely wiser to not hurt the feelings of a murderer. In term of danger, hurting the feelings of a non murderer is less dangerous than a murderer.
OMG, he was fearless. Ricky Gervais and Dave Chappelle are close, but Norm did it on network TV, on a show that was reaching millions. Back then everyone talked about SNL, it was a cultural phenomenon.
@@OJ-reborn I dont think you understood what the OP was saying. Macdonald said these things while the trial was still ongoing. He wasn’t playing safe and saying “allegedly”. It was extremely controversial at the time. There have been a lot of great comedians that have taken controversial positions, but most of them did it during their own sets and not on live national television. The focus wasn’t good SNL comedians, but comedians standing up and telling a joke, even if it’s controversial. Nobody in your list fits that there were plenty of comedians in history that do, but not those folks ( as funny as they are though.. don’t get me wrong )
I’d add George Carlin to that list, too. He didn’t do SNL but he’s on point with observational humor. Saw him on the “dirty words” tour, funny funny man. I miss Norm & George.
Looking back at this, I was in my 20’s young and clueless but when OJ was handling the knife in court and acted like it was a toy and smiling…. That’s when I knew he was guilty. If he didn’t do it and she was the love of his life that should have crippled him. That was the tool used to kill her. Yet he joked and laughed.
@@Debra355 that’s right. It was in the bag of stuff he gave to his attorney. It was when he put on the gloves and made a joke of it. The killer of the love of his life had those gloves on and he put them on and was joking. Guilty.
@ whiskey..., people are so scared. They have moved so far away from truth, if someone tells them the truth they'll cry and run away. In my day you had to be politically correct, now you have to accept that there are 52 genders and the world as we know it is upside down and evil is good 🥴
They all had an obvious racial bias, more so than being influenced by his celebrity status. It's insane the court allowed a mostly black jury as if that doesn't immediately result in a rigged trial. I don't get how that was even legal. The bias was only further evidenced by the way people celebrated after his acquittal like it's a win for the black community. Pathetic.
I know many people were worried of possible rioting if he was found guilty. Which was ridiculous because EVERY Black person I knew then knew OJ was guilty.
Two of my favourite jokes are missing in this "This week it was revealed that when O.J. was first taken into police custody, his lawyers denied permission for Simpson to be hooked up to a lie detection machine. The reason - It's a machine that detects lies." "In the O.J. Simpson trial Ron Goldman's father hurled abusive language at Mr Simpson because "he didn't like the way he was looking at him." O.J responded "Come on, I wasn't even looking at you! Oh your probably just still mad at me because I murdered your son."
I wonder was you upset and said sickening, about the white community, when Latasha Harlins was killed and got no justice or Rodney king was beaten by L A P D and got no justice or when Trayvon Martin was killed and got no justice, or Emmett Till was killed and got no justice or Tamir E. Rice was killed and got no justice Ernest Collins and 16-year-old Benny Mitchell killed and got no justice, you see I can go on on about what is really sickening about yo people!!
One of the few things I don’t like about chappelle. Maybe they were just like that back then because of really bad racism and cops beating them. That’s all I can assume. Otherwise, it’s much worse than I thought.
A lot of the black community harbors hate for white people still. People that were never slaves hate people who never owned slaves. It's unfortunately the effects of decades of Zionist propaganda pushing the race/ class war
Aa did everyone else. The only question was can being a celebrity let you get away with it? In those days, yes. These days...less so. That much spousal abuse would be a lot harder to hide these days. And that's a good thing.
Norm had the most perfect comedic timing I have ever seen. He always knew when to pause, when to slow down, and when to speed up. I don't think anyone cried over O.J. but I'm willing to bet there were many tears when Norm left us.
Yes. Tho the only real justice would have been the long-abused Nicole Brown and the gentleman Ron Goldman outliving that murderer... Not to mention what actual justice if Ohlmeyer had been fired - and 'cancelled' - for his open and thoroughly corrupt support for a pampered sports-world wife-beater, womanizer, and multi-murderer, instead of the funny guy who bravely and honestly spoke truth to power. Weird how criminals, media moguls, and other bigwigs too often have so much in common..
OJ's coffin was placed next to his ex-wife....unfortunately...the casket was too big for the hole...so the gravediggers just dropped OJ in a dumpster and left. They were heard saying "If it doesn't FIT....we're going to SPLIT!!!"
“It was revealed today that O.J. Simpson told police that Nicole Brown Simpson used to beat him up. He also claimed that she and Ron Goldman killed him.” 😂
Thank you! 🇨🇿! ♥️ from the 🇺🇸. My great-grandmother was from Czechoslovakia & gave birth to my grandmother during the 1906 San Francisco, CA earthquake, in an army tent. I still remember her accent when I was a little girl. Hope to visit your beautiful country someday! Peace.
This guy was a genius at deadpan delivery. And a shout out to the producers who let this kind of material go out over the airwaves back then. You could never get something this controversial on the air today, that’s for sure. Everyone is too worried about being litigated to the poorhouse.
@@KittyGrizGriz word on the streets, is that the juice wanted to be a director in t.v. and movies. But, every time he yelled, "cut!" It scared everyone on the set! Now, thats dark dark humor.
@@markmac2206 the Scriptures teaches us we have a "Helper" in the form of the Holy Spirit, and an Advocate to the Father in Jesus. OJ has Johnny, and that Kardashian fellow.
