"When people ask me what I did in the war, I tell them I did the same thing we all did, we fought... for what was right. I've come to realize that there's nothing good about war, but there is good in why you fight wars, and we were all fighting for the same thing" -Holt
It’s nice to see a fellow person of culture. It is like this song holds a part of my past. A part that I will NEVER get back. Memories of me and my father and his friends playing on split screens. Me yelling at the screen “Who shot me?” Great times.
One of the greatest songs ever written for a score. Honestly, film worthy. Even better than John Williams contribution to saving private ryan. This should have been the theme instead.
ooof i wouldnt go that far, john williams wrote a banger with saving private ryan. but it is good and if it was for sacing private ryan i would not be mad
Just so amazing that almost 15 years after the game launched people haven't forgotten this amazing soundtrack. An amazing performance by L'Orchestre de Jeux Vidéo. Brings back so many memories, the good old times.
That Trumpet solo, at the beginning has got me glassy-eyed, I swear that's more beautiful than in the official soundtrack. It's almost as if Tim Morrison was playing that part.
Idk, whenever I listen to this, it takes back at the time where I'm sitting in front of the screen, listening to this masterpiece. Still giving me goosebumps up to this year, 2024.
The Nostalgia Hit Me So Hard That Make All of The History When I Play This Game... But Its been 20 Years since I last Play This Game... From this EPIC Orchestra I Feels that My Nostalgia and my History about this Game Is Calling Me Again..... :"D
Vetaran Holt: [Opeaning lines] When people ask me what I did in the war, I tell them I did the same thing we all did, we fought for what was right. I've come to realize that there's nothing good about war, but there is good in why you fight wars, and we were all fighting for the same thing.
Amazing performance of an amazing piece of music. If it had been used in a film, or an HBO series, this piece would have got a lot of attention. Instead it's just a bunch of mid-2000s gamers coming back to listen to this piece of music, 17 years after the game came out. Like many others seem to have, I used to leave the menu running just to listen to this. It still pops into my head every few months.
Every time I hear this I get chills when video games used to be good and fun to play loved the Medal of Honor series all ways will top 3 video games series in my opinion
Makes sense seeing Nintendo Cosplayers. I had this game on the GameCube, and it played like Call of Duty and Goldeneye 007 put together. The single player had a neat squad system and I'd try to complete the missions with all my squad mates alive. Multiplayer becomes a mad dash to upgrade your weapon class first. The sniper was pretty OP in multiplayer.
This game was a masterpiece and was underrated even when it came out. To see OJV cover this is astonishing because I thought I was the only person on the planet who played it. They had real war vets in the game, talking about WW2, ontop of this EXCELLENT score in the game. One of the best WW2 shooters in history.
Strong feeling_ I used to play this title with my brother_ he dies last year _ and this song brings me back some good old days with him_ like other titles in the 90 s games_ but this is special_ cause we share and fight missions together_ when one played the other it helped to look at what was ahead_ but every time we stopped to see and hear the opening_I know that when I want to remember the happy days by your side I will come back here to hear this song again_miss you brother_ God bless all OJV members_
You know this song is my alarm clock every day I wake up, it makes me feel proud to be an American and Serve my country. Thank you very much for this rendition!
