I so relate with what taimour mentioned about desi parents. I’m in my 20s. I’m done w school, have a good paying job, so I’m financially independent. I made a conscious decision to move in with my parents. My dad understands boundaries, but my mom still treats me like I’m a kid. My dad always tells me to stand my ground and talk to my mom, but when I do she gets upset. Sometimes it’s like a guilt trip cause she hits me with the “you were away for 4 years, and you’ll get married in a few years.” It’s a struggle to find a middle ground 🤦‍♀️ BTW I absolutely love your content!
