Suit up for classic comedy! Anyone notice that when Zuul captures her prey, she does it stealthy and when Dana is alone and vulnerable? But with Vinz he's clumsy, carves a path of destruction and gets seen by almost everybody. Both of them seem to represent the razor sharp balance between Comedy and Horror. Dana/Zuul is scary/creepy while Louis/Vinz is incredibly goofy. A balance in which the remake completely failed at.

I'll admit. When Zuul and Vinz run, the compositing of the stop-motion in the live-action looks pretty choppy unlike like in The Terminator, which came out the same year. The animatronics are spot-on though!

Sadly Ghostbusters was developed on an extremely tight deadline. The rush job stop motion effects were one of the things that suffered from it. The animatronic versions were amazing though.

Always cracks me up how the way Louis introduces new guests that arrive by rattling off specifics of their personal finances. Everything he talks about is through the prism of economic value (i.e. the cost savings of generic aspirin, the net price of the food he's serving after the tax write off, etc.) LMAO! The BEST character in the franchise. So disappointed Rick Moranis chose not to be in the new movie coming out.

That was one of my best friend's favorite part! It cracked him up all the time. When we saw in theaters the very first time, it gave him a laughing fit that he almost couldn't stop! Lol. But his laughter was contagious and he had the rest of us laughing with him..even some people around us couldn't help but laugh. I always remember that ea h time I see this part and it gets me laughing each time. So simple a scene. But still so funny!

Another fun fact: In the Italian version of Back to the Future, Marty is known as Levi Strauss in 1955 since Calvin Klein wasn't known there at the time.
