To me, this song is telling the history and story of the Celestial Plain and what happened to the Celestials. Starts off peaceful and calm, then gets more dramatic and almost chaotic to symbolize Orochi's attack and returns with the melody more triumphant than ever to symbolize Amaterasu fighting back. The following more slowed down bit is explaining the tragedy on the Ark of Yamato and how there was but one survivor. I love this arrangement :^)
In finland during winter time i found this amaizing arragment and before i knew it i was charmed by snowy scenery coupled with this spectacular arragement. It just fits too well!
beginning, sounds like I just lost my best friend. dramatic build going into middle, sounds like the tension and hope and rage of wanting to go avenge ur best friend. ending, the finale goodbye to their spirit...
When I am listening to the song, it makes me calm down, see through my window, see all the little parts of the unharmed nature. It's isolating me from the disquietingly world for 4:46 minutes and this is such a beautiful moment
a) Someone who wanted to take away its dislike virginity b) Someone who thought this was "too sad" and doesn't like feeling emotional c) There are funny people in this world..
absolutely fantastic. In-game, the Theme of the Celestials was not a favorite of mine... but after hearing so many emotion-charged, sorrowful, and beautiful covers such as this has made me turn 180
I could fall asleep to this its so peaceful and calming. I could fall asleep to a lot of Okami songs, because they are all just so beautiful. The creatures of the game did a very good job on music and art
@BoltroBankai I'm flattered that you think I did this, but, I actually got this from an official soundtrack that Capcom produced. So that part where the song changes a bit wasn't my doing.
one of the best sorrowful BGM of Okami. some of the other sorrowful ones are : "Kamiki's Sorrowful Tradition" and "Reset-Thank You Version". Also, i love "The Rising Sun" and "Reset"
Because I was reading "Private Peaceful" while I heard this for the first time, this music always reminds me this story; WW1 and 2, Hiroshima and Nagasaki... All those subjects I learnt this year at junior hight school. So sad... ='s
i dont get how its beautiful... and dont say i have no taste in music or whatever... listen to Mother 3's Love Theme or Earthbound's Boy Meets Girl those are beautiful songs and by the time i finish typing all of this, i see why this song is beautiful. what a waste of comment
@PhoenixWingWolf I see I'm guessing your in Jr. high Because I know what your talking about you said people who tend to poke fun at anything. either it's a good song
