I love this game to the moon and back and only recently got into it's speedrunning community about 1 month ago. I can't believe what I was missing out on. I love seeing speedruns of my favorite game of all time! Very interesting run and enjoyed the commentary! I wanted to get into speed running this game. I just don’t know if I have the will to try. But this is very motivating to say the least! Keep up the great work and you have earned yourself a sub my good man!
Speedrunning has a pretty steep start to learning, but if you take it slow it goes by fine. I didn't do a run for over 2 months after I started learning to run Okami, but it's a fun process. We have lots of resources in the discord for this game linked in the description, the community always loves to have more runners. Feel free to ask whatever questions about the run as well.

Im trying to get all achievements on my second run of the game and im wondering if there's anything that can only be done at specific points like a dungeon that can't be reentered but had a stray bead in it or something. Thats probably not the best way to word it but i basically want to know if i can play the game like normal then go and collect everything right before i get on the ark or are there somethings that once you get past a certain point you can't go back and do anymore.
There are two missable things in the game if you're playing the game normally. The first is the achievement for escaping the water dragon after getting the lucky mallet, which if you find hard, you can escape to the dojo island instead of the shore. The other is one enemy in the game which is only found in a scroll inside the imperial palace, the fire doom mirror, which I kill at 2:35:22 in this run. Things are a little more hairy if you try to add sequence breaks, but I assume you're just playing casually, in which case that's it.

Hi i want to make the kusa 5 trophy, but the princess doenst let me battle, at least by now i believe, i think i got to kusa 5, but i realize that i was not strong enough, so i decided to go another hour, but now she do not let me battle with all the dogs, to get the kusa 5 trophy, it will unlock again nearly to end game? Pls help 🙏
