Just because they like rap music and put their own spin on that music doesn't mean they automatically want to be black. I'm so sick of comments like. "Everyone wants to be black but not really." saber icle first off I am black but even if I wasn't that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on it and disagree with what others have commented. I'm not saying it isn't offensive to them I'm saying in no way do I SEE this as offensive. And its true that some people are overly sensitive. Second black people can't "own" a whole music genre. Just because blacks, African American, whatever dominates this mucus genre doesn't mean they own and are the only ones who have the right to make this music. Yet no one complains when these other non poc are buying these black artist albums and merchandise creating more money for them. BUT I do agree that there are many countries that do have a prejudice against black people, either out of ignorance or just pure hate. There's a difference between not liking a song, and completely rejecting what they're doing. A TRUE hip hop fan is not defined by an ethnicity. Hip hop was created by African American to vent on the struggle of coming up in a time of hardship - that doesn't mean only Black people can rap. So these guys contributing to hip hop is them doing exactly what any other rapper does. Hip hop is a huge community with many different interpretations. From 2Pac to 2Chainz, J. Cole to Jay Rock, Eminem to MGK to Mac Miller who's Jewish etc. With that said, language shouldn't be a barrier of what "real hip hop" is because y'all can't understand it, and don't like that they're asian.

People on here are acting like American rappers don't do the same thing they're doing. I know plenty rappers that take other rapper's beats and make "their own song" out of it. I know plenty rappers that take little lines from other songs and make it their own. But because someone from another country is doing it everyone goes batshit crazy lmao people just need to be original no matter what country you're from. That's why I will always respect Ne-Yo. He writes his own music, makes his own beats and produces his own music. You don't have a lot of artists like that.
There is no such thing as "another rappers beats" most of the time the rapper had nothing to do with the beat. And who cares if people rap over other beats if anything it show's creativity.
