Definitely some crazy cards for priest but they needed it honestly. The class has been bottom tier for awhile and they we’re losing A LOT come rotation.

Chalk Artist and the Purify brings to mind a deck focused on the cards that are "Super efficient stats with downsides" like the 4 mana 7/7 taunt that can't attack guy. These decks have... Basically never worked, but I remember playing one way back in the day with Wailing Soul. Clearly it's time to run it back!

There's an interesting idea to run Scale Replica with Zarimi as your lowest cost Dragon

The extra turn card basically reads “give all minions already in play windfury, give all minions you play this turn charge, and refresh all you mana” it’s just insane value.

There’s a heartbreaker hedanis otk built into these cards somewhere. Wouldn’t be surprised if some crazy otk dragon priest with Raza pops up

Doesnt the repackage summon the package in the deck, which they then have to spend 2 mana on to get the minion resealed? if that IS the case, wouldnt it be better then psychic scream, because I don't see the "cast while drawn" text on the card?

Potentially 2 clay matriarchs + 2 of those welp wranglers, or what they are called, that generate 1/2 dragons along eith the tutor card and Zarimi might be all you need

It's crazy that you can run the "build around" Zarimi with a total of 6 cards: Zarimi, 2 clay matriarchs, 2 Scale Replicas, and 1 expensive dragon bomb like Alexstrasa. Then if you draw one of your 4 dragons before playing a Scale Replica you'll have both Zarimi and enough dragons for the effect.

Is the discover a copy of a spell in your deck spell still in rotation? If so that's an infinite combo with the refresh 2 mana costing 0.

Chalk artist could be nuts in a dragon deck. Build up a mid size board with dragons+ buff them +1 +2, clear any minions or go face, then take another turn immediately. It could be really good burst face damage from mediocre minions

The Xyrella hero card's damage hero power is very interesting here. Drop the new raza at some point, get the 0-cost spells from the Careless Crafter, then use papercraft angel (or an early old raza, if you're reno) to get a free hero power turn. The Xyrella itself gives you 4x the 0-cost spells from Crafter, so you'll have 8 of them in hand. That's 45 damage for a not huge deck commitment.

I mean, you don't HAVE to be highlander to use reno and get the hero power, you just lose the (super powerful) battlecry lol

I feel like chalk artist is meant to go into a silence deck, especially since the previous card you showed (purifying power) seems to also support silence priest. That said, I think shellfish is rotating and I don't know if there are any good minions for that deck in the new core set.

Can you brann the extra turn effect once? Or is it hard coded to happen only once? I assume no but also theres no brann effects in standard rn for priest so...

Zarimi+doomsayer on 7 might be a staple.

Repackaged after using the 1-cost lightbug bottle could be really good if the opponent had a full board. Unless their hand is empty when they open the box, they're going to get a bunch of 1/1 instead of their minions.

It might not be as abusable as Time Warp (which is a good thing imho) but it's amazing how hard Zarimi powercreeps the very concept of a quest when you think about it. It's Open the Waygate on a stick except you don't even have to play it to start earning completion, it's like if it cast at the start of game instead of you having to play it turn 1.

Careless Crafter will be insane in Overheal Priest. That deck is already kinda great right now and those bandages at 0 seem really busted with Hedanis. And at worst they just draw 2.

Kinda powerful that Zarimi is based on summons, not dragons played, so the clay matriarch can count as more than one from the deathrattle

Might have to wait and see, but with repackaged , not only will iy cost 2 mana to open, but surely there is a chance to burn the cards if too many are in the box forcing them to either wait with a dead card in hand until they have room in hand or risk burning any key cards in the box by not waiting.

Probably going to play some dragons in my Wishing Well rogue for a some high rolls lol.

Hey Regis, I love all of your videos, the reviews especially. If you’re open to some feedback, I think if you introduced the backup cards in each package first, leading to a big reveal of the legendary it would make for a more cohesive review video. Either way, thanks for all you do!

I think you're missing the potential with chalk artist, playing it in an aggro deck could allow you to run low-cost cards and since most legendaries have high base stats, playing the result and silencing it with purifying power can lead to some huge boards

The dragon package is bonkers. Timewinder might be the best card they've ever printed, only 5 dragons and it's summoned, not even played? Every class would run this card with any rando dragons. Now, Priest is SO WEAK that maybe it still won't be enough but I tend to think it'll be immediately nerfed. Probably should be "you and your opponent each get an extra turn" which would still be very strong but basically require you to end the game on your extra turn or lose.

Just gonna say that in standard priest is one of the classes where getting an extra turn isnt gonna overtake the meta. We are never able to keep a good board and the dragons we are getting aint changing that. And we dont have burn spells to kill you. In wild however, yes this is gonna be broken.

The fact that druid can get the legendary from dragon tales scares me

The only thing thats gonna keep Zarimi balanced its that fact that is a priest card. Imagine if it were a druid or DH card 💀

I think Zarimi's condition of summoning 5 dragons is way too easy to meet. It should at the very least be play 5 dragons.

Raza the Resealed + Reno Arcane Bullet = Infinite Damage? If you have some way to play an infinite amount of cards a turn, of course. It actuality, it behaves basically exactly like the old Raza + Shadowreaper combo of old, and if you play Old Raza to set the cost to 0 you'd gain 2 mana each time you use Arcane Bullet, _that_ would make playing infinite cards in a turn much easier... EDIT: Papercraft Angel is BUSTED, bro.
