@@angelofsin1303 There are a few comments in the "SMOK Imitate Each Other" collab, but yeah, not talked about a lot. There are multiple European and Asian languages where a ton of syllables get thrown out at blazing speed effortlessly by native speakers compared to the slower pace and relatively fewer syllables of American English, so that might be the reason for the lack of comments. To us, Okayu's going Rap God speed, but to them, it might just be "slightly and comically faster."
*Korone:* I could never shake a soda to get rid of the bubbles in front of other people, because they'd think I'm a _weirdo!_ *Also Korone:* My catchphrase is 'Yubi Yubi,' because I like to cut off the fingers of all of my viewers, and put them on ice, and give them back after the stream is over.
Korone at Okayu's house: "I don't want to be a nuisance." Luna at Subaru's house: "Oh man, you only have 3 types of ice cream? I guess that's okay... 🙄"
Maybe it will be easier for you if you reverse the roles in your head and think of much you would enjoy it if you could make someone happy with things you offer them. I also had this feeling for a while, but I realized that if they dont want me to have anything, they woulndt ask, right. Accepting gifts is as great as giving them =)
It's important to remember that there is etiquette for both the guest and the host. Obviously the guest can turn down offers of from the host. But a good host won't offer things they aren't willing to give
Poor Okayu just wants to give her waifu some tea. I would happliy accept some tea from Okayu. Or anyone from Hololive for that matter. Now I want Okayu and Korone to host a Tea Time stream. It would be so relaxing and funny.
Korone refills Okayu's glass endlessly when she visits. Okayu doesnt even get to offer her a drink because Korone comes fully equipped. This couple is just the funniest~
@Dustin Daniels I'm the literal opposite and it'll bother me when the carbonation goes down in my soda even a little. I'll even squeeze the top of the bottle flat before putting it in the fridge so that there isn't a bunch of open space in the bottle for the gas to diffuse into.
"Why? is it because you don't want me to spoil you?" "I want you to spoil me" "THEN DONT BRING YOUR FRIGGIN SODA" Can't stop rewinding this. I think im stuck with a genjutsu.
Koro-san, of course we think you're a weirdo, and we wouldn't have you any other way. It's one of the things we love about you the most. Best weirdo ever. :)
It comes down to language. Those language that has their syllable starts with a consonant and ended with a vowel (most of the time), can be spoken insanely fast. Another example would be Spanish.
0:35 - Holy moly, that's the fastest I've ever heard Okayu speak. 1:28 - Yeah, y'know what, I feel the same way sometimes. I'll bring stuff with me so I don't feel like I'm imposing on my host. These two put such a giant grin on my face. Too dang wholesome. I hope it's a long time before they have to move on to something else, because I love 'em to bits.
Gods, they really are just far too adorable together... Either one alone is just precious beyond belief, but when you place them together, there's some kind of quantifying effect that takes place xD
Damm this is so heartwarming and adorable to see two best friends trying to be nice with one another I feel I like I can die happily but I won’t must go on until the world ends which about 80 or 140 years probably end there
Okayu: do you not want me to spoil you?~ Korone: I do want you to spoil me~ Okayu: THEN DON'T BRING YOUR OWN SODA!!! They say even the fastest cameras can't catch the moment Okayu's demeanor shifted
Being not much of a fan of fizz myself, I've developed a habit of taking a decent overfizzy swig from soda bottles, then squeezing the air out before putting the cap back on and shaking it until it pops back out, then repeating until there's little fizz left. I'll never forget doing that at work one day when suddenly my coworker makes the same sort of noise Egoraptor made for brain explosions and yelled "YOU'RE A FRIGGEN WIZARD" while I stood there blankly staring back at him...
If someone shook a soda in front of me I wouldn't think them a weirdo; instead be tempted to ask why they would do such a thing, however my social awkwardness would stop me from approaching and talking to them first.
It just feels weirdly nice. The nice part is you don't have to constantly burp cuz of the carbon, the weird part is that it leaves a weird feeling in your teeth.
Most soda just feels too carbonated for me. Like I want it to be fizzy but not that fizzy; I'd say about 60% regular fizziness is good //Although I'd never try shaking my soda. I'd just pour it into glasses and left them in the fridge for like a hour or so
I'm the exact same as korone here, I don't like the idea of my friends giving me their stuff that ya know, they paid for, so I usually always bring snacks and drinks to friends houses
