After hitting rocks in the lake, we thought we'd need to get hauled out and replace the propellers. Instead, we just kept going towards our destination. All the propeller stores were closed on the weekend anyway. And the boat was still working good enough to just keep swimming...

I navigated this waterway in 2015, from Fort Myers to Stuart delivering my 35' sailboat to Cocoa, all by myself, and went through all those locks, scraped my elbows a few times on the walls. No fun alone, with manatees inside the locks. What an experience. Locks, drawbridges, rail bridges, then the lake. And yes, beautiful, but lots of gators.

When I was a passenger on a 65" sportfish, we always appreciated the rain storms. They saved us a lot of work, not having to wash the boat, top to bottom. Those were much appreciated mother nature washes.

Love your videos, they are a little bittersweet for me as I remember what it was like 50 years ago and growing up in Jefferson Parrish, Louisiana. My dad and I would travel down to the Mississippi Delta and put in and fish in the Gulf. Wish I could do that one more time. But, at least I have the memories.

Another great video. Can't believe they had no fenders. I have had a 42 foot cruiser 2 mono sails, one with a fodeable keel which was great to be able to beach. But My cat is my far the best. I don't understand the reasoning for this loud ass portable generator. This boat is set up all wrong. But then again, poor people have poor way. None the less, a GREAT adventure!!!!

Like always great video marty. And will you people who keep saying need to post more fishing videos, will you just enjoy the content he puts on youtube and be quiet. He invites us basically into his journeys of now living on the water and soon to be buisiness, dont you think at some point he'll get to fishing... He cant start a business and everything else if he's fishing 24/7. Anyways sorry I had to vent that cause that really buggs me. But keep up the great work marty i'll be watching no matter what.

Should have gone to one engine, starboard prop. The port was damaged enough, it probably has messed up the shaft bearing especially after then continuing to use the port prop. The starboard prop still looked ok and you could have just used that. I carry extra props in my boats just in case. While I don't go outside the markers ever, sometimes in rivers there are unseen logs or trees where I live that are not marked or floods have moved. Replacing a prop is not hard.
