OKLAHOMA! at Shea's is a re-imagined version of the musical theatre classic 

In the words of a long forgotten director of a high school production of Oklahoma, "People, people, people!"

Saw it. Not my cup of tea. Didn't mind the darkness, it always had the dark undertones. Mostly I objected to the updated dress. It takes place at a really specific time.

I saw this "version" of Oklahoma in Fort Worth as part of my musical season subscription. It was absolutely the worst musical that I've ever attended and I've seen a lot of them. Almost half of the audience left at intermission. It was truly dreadful.

Why did it need to be reimagined? It was fine the way was.

I really hope they release the soundtrack with this cast, I saw The show today and I just can’t get enough
