Eric Lewis common man Russ was holding Adams back and “stealing” rebounds. So now that he’s gone Adams is all of a sudden gonna turn into shaq and lead them to the playoffs 😂

Here are stats to support that Adams can average 15 reb. The past 2 years Drummond has average 16 & 15.6 reb he had 5.4 & 5.1 offensive reb. The past 2 years Adams has had 5.1 & 4.9 so the offensive reb he needs are already there. Yes Russ shooting % wasnt good giving Adams ORB, but Adams actually averaged more ORB the year before last when russ was shooting better than last year. Last year Russ averaged 9.6 DRB compared to CP3 3.9 so almost 6 less. Plus they lost George who also averaged more DRB than whoever is going to take his place at SF Roberson, Ferguson, Gallinari. So last year Adams averaged 9.6 rebounds even if you only add the difference between CP3 and Russ not counting the difference between George and whoever cause we dont know who is replacing him yet that 9.6 can become 15.6 if instead of just boxing out for russ he goes up and grabs it instead. so it is possible Adams becomes a Drummond type & average 15 reb he doesnt have to become a Shaq or a superstar to average 15 reb.

@Eric Lewis i get what your saying its not likely and thats not exactly how it works I know that. It is incredibly hard to average that many rebounds, but i believe with how strong and forceful Adams is in the paint and how well he positions himself while grabbing rebounds he can get on Drummonds reboumding level he is already there on ORB. How about this ill rephrase it to my bold prediction for the Thunder this year is Adams averages 15 reb. Would that be better for you? A bold prediction not likely but possible.
