I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but the entire 2023 Sooners woman softball season is probably one of the greatest sermons I've heard. Congrats ladies.
Multiple National Championships, best friends, coach Gasso and future husband but her main accoplishment was "the Lord has given me a platform to shine a light that the world tries to dim." Can that statement be topped?
No I don't think so. Amazing to be so young and have priorities so in line! God is glorified by what these ladies have accomplished and made their top accomplishment!
Yes. Jesus Christ is the light of the world that the world can never dim. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. John 1:5
So well spoken and such a wonderful role model. I wish there were more young women like her in this world that our little girls could all look up to. Grace of God Lyons ✝
So amazing to watch these girls winning not only on the field but ultimately in life. Every chance they get they put God first and it has been amazing to watch as they constantly get attacked. The prayer after games, the celebrations, the winning people choose every avenue of attack and they still but God first.
Dear Grace, I want to thank you and commend you for that amazing testimony to the greatness of God in your life. There is no doubt in my mind that you have had a significant impact on your team and that God has used you in mighty ways. Praise the Lord that there are young women like you who will stand for the the things of the Lord. God bless you as you move on with your life and your pending marriage. You are truly and inspiration on and off the field.
Love what you and Michael have done to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to the world from a university of Oklahoma athletic platform. You make all of us Sooner fans so proud. God Bless you and Michael’s impending nuptials. I pray God continues to bless both of you and your life together. I will always follow both of your ministries. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to the game and the university! Boomer Sooner!! Good luck tonight!! Go get #7!!!
Great job Grace! So proud that you brought Christ into your letter and are using your public platform to minister to the masses. God bless you as you wrap up (win!) hopefully tonight and get ready for your wedding to the Turk-ster.
So awesome to hear this! I applaud you Grace for being "unapologetic" and unashamed to share the Gospel and the joy that you have in Christ. Thank you for sharing! Congratulations on another championship and your accolades. May God continue to bless you in all that He has next for you.
so inspiring to hear these words from Grace! I don't play softball, i play tennis and in a few months will leave to go play college tennis, and i can be reminded that tennis is just something that i do, but I am a child of God, and i pray that i can reach teammates and others who have not heard of Jesus, because no matter the accomplishments that i achieve, matches i win, i cant do any of that without God, and in the end, those things will leave, but I am so glad to be with God forever!
What an incredible young woman. A great mentor that young girls can model themselves after. She puts everything in its proper perspective and is most deserving of the captain’s “C” on her uniform.
I am so pleased that you have the strength of character to share your testimony with those around you. I enjoy watching you and your team play, but what I like the most is when the team you play against joins you all in a moment of prayer and thanksgiving after the game. Don't ever dim your light. You are needed.
I have a 13-year-old who loves softball, but has no chance of playing at such a competitive level. She has learned the same joy through the girls whom which she plays softball. I am glad to see the bright light of success and fame haven’t dimmed your faith, rather your faith has been strengthens. Grace, thank you for your story. Carry on!
Grace, you truly have a servants heart and Thanks for standing up for the ultimate cause especially in these difficult times when the world is trying to push our Savior completely out of the picture. We have the awesome knowledge that the world won't succeed. GOD Bless you and your Christian walk.

One of Gods warriors. She'll always have a significant place in the annals of OU softball. Best of luck to her and a equally devoted believer Turk. A match made only in heaven.
So proud of them and I have never followed them. I just randomly have watched college softball occasionally on television. Always was impressed with the talent. 👍👍🙏

Love these girls for sticking up for themselves because they are winners! Dont stop beating the hell out of these other teams and celebrate as much as you want. U deserve it just like the NFL players enjoy it. Im now a huge fan!
Wow that was beautiful and inspiring. My daughter grew up since the age of 8 years old she played travel softball and ended up pitching in college. It truly is a close sisterhood in softball and I got to watch it from the outside in. Congrats to the OU ladies on there Championship. All glory be to God!
We all need to have the courage to stand up and proclaim God's love the way Grace and her teammates have. May God continue to bless these amazing young women.
