Jordy is a frigging freshman. Hearing her speak; she is going to be an insane leader for this team in the future. Not just her play, she is a born leader. Future is bright for OK.
Good Lord!! Watching the manner in which these four ladies handled questions I was thinking that Coach Gasso surely must be bursting with pride. Every one of them was articulate and poised but so much more importantly humble, kind, generous & grounded. Congratulations!!!!
This Group of girls are so humble and it’s never about them it’s about the team and the faith that they have is amazing this is a great group of role models.
"They did when I couldn't", the perfect heartwarming eyefilling definition of what being a great team is all about. They all seem so grateful for what they got and acheived and not taking things for granted
Wow what a group of young ladies and throw in the Great Coach with Gasso...best team ever no doubt and their faith and speaking it, which I'm glad they did because some folks don't like people giving thanks to God right up front......so much class and ability
I’m so proud of these champions in many many ways. They pray to play and they are the best team ever in every way. What they said today inspired thousands of people, I know because they inspired me.!
The state of Oklahoma owes this team a huge thank you. This team plays with class and grace. This coaching staff is phenomenal. Thank you girls for all the blood, sweat and tears you have shed for each other and for letting the University and the State to tag along on your journey to another Championship.
The Sooners made the tough plays when they needed to. Texas made misplays that hurt. Defense inspired the Sooners. But practice and knowledge of the opponent’s pitchers allowed them to learn and execute with what they learned throughout the game. Coaching shows them what to look for and how to react in these two key elements. Throughout the year they showed us how to play the game with your head and your talent. GOAT, doesn’t matter, they we’re just too incredible and they showed they are the champs.
I watched a video of the '85 Bears years ago, and I heard JIm McMahon say, "You can't be a championship team if you have doubt in your mind." They won't always win it all, but they will be in the hunt 9, if not 10 times out of ten. Phenomenal. They play for each other. They love each other. When it was 2-0, you just knew they were going to break it open. I'll admit, that last out was hard to get, but I understand why. You're ready to celebrate, amped up.
They say if you are blessed enough to make it to college and blessed enough to be on a good team ,,,,,,,it will be the best 4 yrs of your life ,,,,, this proves it!!!
The state of Oklahoma and Oklahoma University are very lucky to have the softball team that just finished this season and I include the coaching staff congratulations to all of you. Obviously you love winning and it shows obviously and I know you had to work your butts off to win the waste that you did it's never easy but I'm preaching to the choir anyway thanks for your sweating and busting your butts to bring this to Oklahoma love watching you play and I hope more and more people will get out and see your games next season. There is so much class on this softball team. BOOMER SOONERS
JOY Jesus Others You. Coach Gasso and the TEAM have their priorities in the correct order. Keep Spreading the word. Yall are already on the greatest team. GODS TEAM
What we need is pro- softball teams so they can keep playing, softball has gotten to be a big sport just like baseball so we need to as fans and coaches and colleges to fight for it to happen.
When you really have that type of team it lifts everyone up and the bottom do great things too just like the top of the line up. And the bottom of the lineup win that last game.
Those who might be interested with “The boat” verse of the Bible….. here it is. Matthew 14:22-33 22 Immediately Jesus [a]made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. 24 But the boat was now [b]in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. 25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, [c]“Be of good cheer! [d]It is I; do not be afraid.” 28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw [e]that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” 31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 Then those who were in the boat [f]came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”
