If you ever wondered why so many Germans speak passable (or better) English at least part of the reason is they listen to (and apparently sing along with) many English-language songs. Heck, if you hang out at the cool spots in Berlin the amount of English (slang and proper) is astonishing.
@@DA-db9bi Sorry, are you German? I've visited many times - different parts. My parents were there in the late 60s in the military and lived with a local family. We are hosting our 2nd exchange student from Germany. We love everything about Germany, especially the people. I realize that politics can be a bit challenging in the EU but Germany is a phenomenal country with amazing culture that is doing well generally and trying hard to do the right thing - a real world leader.
