The lyrical prowess of okyeame kwame is unmatched in Ghana. Sad that the current social media generation didn't come to meet this masterpiece at it prime. Dec 2021 n I still love this golden song.
I just found out this song via some IG video of asantewaaa and another Guy..can you translate for me,at least the chorus and the first verse..i really like it
@@garyelgaryel385 Ode me mama mama,- sa so wa ma mi ooo,.. (He calls me Mama mama(rhymes with give in twi language),. But he never gave me.) Nti sweety sweety nti, na m3 sweeteee..So sweety sweety , ?? sweety. Ode me baby baby , sa na wa fa me abrofa bi ,.(He calls me baby baby , but treats me like a child) (,. And when I hear hunny, he's talking about honey).. that's the chorus I tried to translate😊..
The most emotional song in Ghana aside Gospel worship songs. You wont understand me until you heart is broken and this sing is randomly played. You wont be able to hold your tears.😢
Was in Accra the year this track was released and still nostalgic whenever I reminisce my melody even without understanding the language. Music is universal language indeed. God bless our legends.
Ugh Raquel, she was soo good but was very underrated and never given the necessary attention and push she needed.. Raquel has been my favorite since day one and will forever have a place in my heart for the great songs she made before. Same thing is going on with Adina now until she also quits doing music. Ghanaians don’t realize how good most of their female musicians are. It is very sad.
I'm currently enjoying this song over my best break up ever. Was hard from the onset but today it's the best ever 🤣🤣🤣 Racquel vocals are always d best.... Still playing April 2022
Everyone is touched by this so nice and melancholic melody, maybe because everyone feels how Life is as beautiful as sad, suddenly, in one moment it can rain or shine...Life is so ;-)... thanks a lot to Raquel always authentic and Okyeame Kwame, a so beautiful name !! ;-)...
This actually Okyeame Kwames all time best. This is artistic. I love it. Raquel sounds so good as well. I feel Sevyn Streeter in her voice. Big ups . Listening in 2018.
O.K is a true poet no wonder he studied linguistics, the song is timeless and a masterpiece this is the kind of song we want from our musicians.Raquel is a great songstress and a good actress i love this song so much.
This song was honestly a masterpiece, still is in late 2022. I feel Okyeame Kwame doesn’t get nearly the praise and recognition he deserves. Man’s a LEGEND!
Had always sounded like an old classic cuz it's just timeless.and so proud of them, Raquel, where is she, she is one of the greats, hope she never stops
