Mannn I miss when Videos used to tell a story. Everybody used to sit in silence during a video soul premier back in the day because you just HAD to see what the video was gonna be about. The song/group/video collab was perfect. Bring back videos that told a story!
I always thought it was such a mistake for them to make LaTocha the focal point of the group during this era. I mean don't get me wrong, she can sing her ass off, but Kandi & Tiny had that unique tone that made me fall in love with the group.
Omg!! I tell me son that allll the time. Im so blessed to be born in the 80s.. When you hear certain songs like this, you get butterflies and start thinking about the good ole days before cell phones and social media. When life and love was easy Class of 2002 🎓
The ending in the video is so pretty. The loving you in the background… bu the actual version with the runs and Riffs the last two minutes is EVERYTHING
Yes it is so amazing.. i always check the video on youtube, just for that amazing outro.. That’s all keith right there.. Can’t nobody to these begging outro’s like him.. Man i miss those days!!
Encino Man She sure can't! Lmao Now I have to say they all did a damn good job singing their individual parts but I never thought Xscape were that great PERIOD! 🤷🏾♀️ They could just sing but nothing extra.
One thing about Xscape. They could eat a remake up! "In the Rain", "Who Can I Run To", "Is My Living in Vain", and "Am I Dreamin'" all stand on their own!
RIP Lisa Left Eye Lopez Xscape Is One Of My Favorite Female Groups Of All-time They All Are Very Beautiful Women I Miss The 90s What Happened To OlSkool They Were A Very UnderRated Group Back Then Tamika Scott And Kandi Got Georgia Peaches For Dayz Dats Real Talk They All Very UnderRated Singers And SongWriters ATL Legends Queens Of ATL Next Too TLC
+alexis johnson i sweaR TO GOD TODAY WAS THE DAY I REALIZED WHO SHE WAS AND IVE WATCHED THIS VIDEO A BILLION TIMES! BUT SHE DOES LOOK GOOD WITH BLONDE HAIR (BREYANNA PERRY FROM SISTER HOOD OF HIPHOP KINDA FAVORS HER HERE WITH THE BLONDE HAIR)
Timeless masterpiece both groups were absolutely awesome so much power and emotions I love this song . Xscape is beautiful and Ol Skool is the bomb and too fine 💝
@@kaykaybrown2528 Nah they just didn’t make pop/crossover music, so they were marketed more towards an urban audience instead of a mainstream audience (which isn’t a bad thing).
he was probably the type that knew how to go to a strip club and just watch but not touch. Then as a man, you start to think about all of the other men who do touch and your lady letting them touch, is a disappointing and disrespectful situation unless she is single
My sweet Lord. I just loveee tiny. She is such a queen and so legendary. Her voice is so unique, rare, and angelic. Nobody can't compete to such raw and powerful vocals. 🙏👑🕊️ QueenTiny all day
I've been watching this video for a decade and never get tired of this 'song with a story'. "Left Eye" Lopes is quite the actress. The blend of the voices of Keith, Ol' Skool, and Xscape is absolutely marvelous !!
what this group did different than others: they gave every member a chance to showcase their talent. although some voices where stronger, they all brought flavor. 😍
Feel so nostalgic. Back in the day we were so romantic about each other...now it's all about being someone's b*tch/h* or someone's n*gga...We lost our soul.
@@taytay1009 My son is also 14 like you were when you made this comment and he loves old school music. That’s awesome kiddo listening to all types of music will help you with being more well rounded.
Robyn Sam That whole era of music and artists are completely gone, all we have now is RU-vid to keep it alive. Sadly young people of today's world will never know what real R&B was all about because of the garbage that is being pushed on the listeners of today's music.
Me.and my work husband. .. start our morning..(6am) off with this jam...he comes to my section walking over singing his part..then I come in..singing my part ...and they love it at work..😊🎤...
