Just because something is not practical on indian roads or for Indians, doesnt mean a comapny should not work on new tech or build some thing new.. This india only mindset is the main reason Indian companies have failed to go global
It's actually a good thing like I wouldn't able to balance scooter so if they can just keep this technology will still be good even if Indian doesn't like it outsiders will like it after who doesn't like self driving cars if they master this technology they can put in future in cars it's like long term goal in America self driving car have for very long time
Actually this question of whether it is possible on Indian roads or not wouldn't have arrised had we followed proper traffic rules at all times and in all situations. The main thing is the mindset, once we change it then everything is possible. Change comes from within. Actually it is not that difficult to follow rules, rules are meant for us, for our own safety if we act over smart and drive wild then we will be at loss both in our safety and reputation. Hope one day we have safe roads like the ones in other countries where people actually follow rules.👍 Change Should come from within it is not that difficult no rocket science.
@@dmat606I don't know about other places, but in Delhi buses move in a lane it's the people with cars , bikes and auto that causes traffic no lane no discipline. When there's a red light people just squeeze their cars inches away from scratching other car , ON the zebra crossing. That causes uncontrolled traffic
@@shayanraj7840well traffic rule are good no need to improve but it is people who have to improve you can see how people follow traffic rule in south Korea and Japan 😊
why searching for space when space is empty tell me, answer me without clicking read more! I said no to you (it created MRI machine which has saved people lives)
Very good. I don't need it to drive me anywhere. But I would definitely like it to go to the fast charging station, wait for its turn, plug itself, charge itself and return back to my parking spot. Will pay for that.
For those who are wondering how it works - they put a circular gyroscope in the battery area to balance the scooter the same way the first one wheeler train did. And it's actually possible to make that happen 😅
@@NOTAHEK On road, a gyroscope cannot actively counteract external forces. It can be used to balance something where there is zero influence of external force, such as for navigation purposes. But it cannot and never be the reason for a completely autonomous self balancing moving 2 wheeler vehicle.
what we need is Dedicated Road for fully autonomous vehicles, we can have a entry gate As soon as vehicle passes under it , it automatically turns into compulsory fully autonomous mode. This way all vehicles in said lane will be autonomous and smooth.
What is the Value offered by autonomous scooter? Autonomous cars you can relax, sleep, romance, watch media while driving. What do you do on an autonomous scooter? Sit with folded hands?
India is the final boss, they have to climb up the ladder, maybe starting with European countries, Japan, or something. The self-driving scooter will start crying seeing the chaos on the roads.
When a person like me who has been riding bikes for 16 years, has three accident, and is still afraid to travel on Indian roads, as you never know when someone will pop up or suddenly change lanes, i don't think it will work here. And if people will try autonomous features they will be a lot of fatal accidents.
Its about time India starts developing and manufacturing where these products can actually work… like western markets… why think inly India and not globally.. great move
I don't understand why people are so skeptical about any tech that gets developed in India. Useful or not its an amazing tech. But I feel it will be very useful for people learning to drive.
Autonomi in a two wheeler would only be for convince. Like summoning from parking or cruice control It would never be something like what you expect it to be. Thats hilarious
Ola is not targeting the Indian market their long-term goal is to expand their EV scooters into global market and for that they have been planning since years and the battery production of ola is one of the worlds largest production in EV.
I think it's practical for everyone to get in and out of their parking. @olaelectric hasn't been able to give a good experience on proximity unlock so I doubt this will be functional in the 1st round
I have an S1pro.. the screen hangs atleast 1-2 times a week and the trip meter doesn’t work properly most of the times.. this is the level of quality they deliver.. now think about self driving 😂 i feel like all lockdown degree holders are developing this.. and forget about build quality, my kids bicycle is par ahead
I’ve been riding Ola from past few days. Im fairly disappointed. A brand new vehicle has so many problems like the power output lag, multiple software glitches and automatic restart of the scooter in middle of the traffic etc. they must first try to fix this. I not a Ola hater but a disappointed user.
Ola should focus on basic mechanics and physics of a motorcycle/moped. We regretted buying it in 3 days. Hope they face the consequences of selling such bad product to customer.
Autonomous Car seems more practical than scooter self driving, I mean why would you need that? The entire concept of having a scooter should be able to travel quickly plus it's really dangerous on two wheeler vehicle
Private or public Authorities plans for rich and poor societies division in coming future. Then this autonomous self balancing vehicle is useful in rich society area as they will be using flying cars no traffic congestion as there will low billionaire population
Fast dey fix the exciting problems with ola and there has lot of it and the service problem also then they can do new things my friend have ola S1 pro and he very must flustered and that why I chenge my mind to buy ola
Everythings gonna be automated in future I guess then what's the point of living in future or just have fun while AI do all the work just like everyone hovering on boards just like in wall E .
I wonder...of they are autonomous, and rider just has to sit( as shown in video)= why do u need a traditional handle bar with accelerator brake and all??? Remember guys, not all inventions are practical
Ola is building self driving ev scooter 🛵 is a good idea but.... I would first recommend ola to maintain there charging ports which are not in a working condition, they are just for the name sake. I have visited over 5 hypercharger ola station and non of them work.
Well the govt here are promoting electric vehicles but they need to practically promote public electric vehicles to reduce traffic like restricting vehicles entry in traffic filled areas and promote free public transport to reduce the traffic and with that the pollution
